Don't get too excited. I'm not giving anything away here. I just thought I would share a list of places that supposedly give away fee cigars from time to time. Some you have to submit an entry every month some just keep you in the drawing when you sign up. Worste case you get spammed. Best case you win some smokes.

BTW, I'm not reccommending any of these sites for buying cigars. Buy at your own risk if you choose to. Here's the list in alpha order.

Alec Bradley - Win a box of cigars each month. You must re-enter each site.
http://www.alecbradley.com/wincigars.htm

Cigar 4 All - 2 Premium or 5 Bundled Free cigars. You have to pay S&H (about $8). Just add it to yor cart and check out.
http://www.cigars4all.com/FREE_Cigars.htm

Cigar Cyclopedia - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing.
http://www.cigarcyclopedia.com/popup/index.php?p=/register_win/main...

Cigar Family - Sign up once to be in the twice monthly drawing - The 1st and the 15th of each month.
http://www.cigarfamily.com/rolling_contest.cfm

Cigar Havana - Sign up to be in the monthly drawing. It's not clear how often they have any drawings.
http://www.cigarhavana.com/free.htm

The Cigar Hut - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing
http://www.cigarsforless.com/Free_Cigars.htm

Cuban Crafters - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing for any box of 25 cigars they sell on te site.
http://www.cubancrafters.com/win.php

CVM Cigars - 6 Free cigars. You have to pay S&H (about $9). Just add it to yor cart and check out. US Only.
https://www.cvmcigars.com/pc-1518-187-free-cigar-offer.aspx

Durango - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing
http://www.durangocigars.com/prizes/monthly.cfm

Factory Direct Cigars - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing for a free humidor.
http://www.factorydirectcigars.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=subscriptio...

JR Cigars - Full box of cigars. Must sign up each month. I set a calendar reminder on the home page for this one.
http://www.jrcigars.com/index.cfm?page=cherrypick

MD Cigars - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing
http://www.mdcigars.com/specials.htm

Phat Ash - Sign up for a weekly winner
http://www.phatash.com/catalog.cfm?dest=Email

Serious Cigars - 5 winners every month. You have to resubmit every month.
http://www.seriouscigars.com/contest/monthly.asp

Smoke Magazine - Sign up each month. One winner will receive premium cigars from Davidoff; A second winner will serve as a member of the Cigar Review Panel in an upcoming issue of SMOKE.

If you know of any others post them here.

Good Luck!

So I gave in and ordered from Cigars4all. Nice and easy, quick shipping. My only complaint is that they shipped in an envelope rather than a box. Luckily no damage was incurred.

I got 2 Cohibas and 2 Puros Indios...

I had accidentally put the freebie deal in the shopping cart twice. Apparently they don't have a "limit one freebie per order" policy

I also got the Cigars4All free order for a Cohiba and Puros Indios.

I also ordered the freebie from CVM. It came with 6 low end cigars: 3 x El Credito, 2 x El Cauto, and a Trinidad y Cia Double Corona. I can't say I was excited to see these but at about a buck a stick with S&H who knows. At some point i'll try them or hand them out to moochers who dont smoke enough to know the difference.

At CVM Cigars it was difficult to navigate to checkout with a fake identity, once there I got a ship rate of less than $7 to Ft. Lauderdale FL. Good deal for 6 smokes.

In about thirty minutes I checked out all the links listed in the free cigar list, sent two emails to companys, navigated to check out in several sites to see the shipping rate for free cigar - Paul is close on all his notes above, and registered for five or six drawings. We'll see?

Wait til you get the cigars. One or two will be OK. Three or four will be crap. None will be great. Personal experience. You'll get a lesson in smoking rolled tobacco clippings. Some use premium clippings and aren't completely worthless. But if you can get one dollar long-fillers that are decent, why settle for clipping that come out in your mouth? Check the reviews for decent dollar cigars.

I wish we were close enough to do that Larry, it would be a blast! The FL address was just part of my fake identity in order to get to their checkout page to see how much shipping would be on there free cigar offer.

Thanks for that link, Larry. Anyone willing to give away some Opus' is a friend of mine. And you never know, I might like something I see there.

I am editing to say that they have Anejo singles available! That's rather exciting, especially since CI doesn't carry them. They're pretty pricey, but hey, at least they have them.

These guys are really cool, I was in their NCAA Basketball bracket tourny. this year. You had to be invited, by registering to their site. They gave out 100's of cigars, including many Opus X. The first place prize was a 3000 count humidor with some Padilla cigars. At the end they gave all 450 participants an Arturo Fuente sampler completely free. It contained all the Fuente lines including Hemingway, Chateau, and Don Carlos, 7 cigars in all. They will be doing it again next year, so you guys should register now. cigarsdirect.com

I know, and Im sorry about that. By the time I heard about it, it was to late to enter. I was going to tell you guys about it for next year. They are going to have alot more contests, and give away alot more cigars. They really are a good bunch of guys, they give away tons of free stuff, and dont ask for anything in return, except to think of them when your ordering cigars online. They are a little expensive but they also are one of the only places to get top notch singles like Opus X.

Reading those (and not realizing they were repeat posts) took some 42 seconds of my life that I won't get back! Thanks.

Its not cigarworld, per se. Its just when you enter in your age info, the application comes back and says there was an error and it couldn't verified. A glitch in their program, I guess. I think others have had this problem.

Three free BluntVille Cigars. I was surprised to see that there was no review for the pinnacle of fine cigars on this website. I might even say I was disappointed. However, now is a great chance for you guys to try out these wonderful cigars and put some great, encouraging reviews up.

They make "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" brand, which appears to be a serious cigar. The BluntVilles look like candied entry-level cigars for young men. They sell roll-your-own cigars, which is intriguing, even though the filler is loose and candied. I'd buy that for fun.

There are two kinds of candied cigars, as I call them. Drew makes natural ones with first rate whole leaf tobacco and herbs and spices. I'm not really into flavored cigars, but I have to respect their devotion to quality. The artificial ones aren't even really flavored, they're scented. If you try to taste the tobacco, you can taste the bitter chemicals, but not the the flavor that the artificial scent purports to represent. I refer to those chemicals as room deodorizers splashed on cheap, shredded tobacco and then machine made. BluntVilles look more inviting than, say Grape White Owls, and I would try one if offered, but I seriously doubt it can compare with a serious cigar, which is cured, aged, hand rolled with whole leaf throughout, and then aged some more.

But I'm a biased old man. Paradoxically, I'm also a pipe smoker, and what I put in my pipe is shredded and sometimes flavored. I don't taste the tobacco with my tongue, though, and the smoke hits the mouth with a ferocity cigars can't match, creating completely different conditions, not all of which are appreciated by the human tongue.

Unflavored tobacco is like black coffee. It's for folks who love the substance and don't need additives to make it palatable. Paradoxically again, I prefer my coffee with loads of heavy cream and artificial sweetener (Atkins Diet), but at least I never drink flavored coffee, ie vanilla, not that there's anything wrong with it, as Seinfeld would say.

None of my rantings are designed to question your choice of cigars for yourself, as taste always varies.

Why don't you become the first to review these cigars?

Well, whether KOAB's post was in jest or not, I downloaded the form to mail in. It seems simple enough:

Do you smoke cigars once a week, couple days a week, everyday? Everyday.
What's the most popular cigar in your area? Black and Mild
Because it's cheaper, better tasting, other? Other, dawg, I live in the hood and that's the way we roll!
What's your favorite flavored cigar (besides Bluntsville)? CAO Moontrance Robusto or a Drew Estate Tabak Especial Robusto Dulce.

I will smoke them, oh yes I will. I'm intrigued by the double wrapper. Take off the outside for a faster smoke!

So according to the video roiling your own cigars is an American tradition, just like baseball. Guess I haven't been performing my patriotic duty. That's it, no more having my cigars rolled by people in other countries, I am going to roll my own from now on.

And they make it so easy, giving you both the L shaped leaf and the square leaf for more rolling fun.

This video shows how Bluntville blunts are indestructible.

According to the video, you can even piss on them without ruining their flavor

Well, I have to give BluntVille credit, True to their word, unlike certain other companies , they send the free stuff they say they will. I got my free smokes today, about six weeks after I sent in the request form: a "Pink Berry", a "Vanilla", and a "Blueberry". They are packaged in stylish foil envelopes that just beg you to put 22" wheels on your 1978 Cadillac Seville and wear your pants with the waistband a good deal south of your waistline! These are definitely on my "next to smoke" list, (after I finish my required reviews). Word to yo mutha!

I may be new to cigars, but I have about twenty years experience in the "rolling my own" department. Let me tell you that anyone that rolls their smoke in a cigar wrapper is a fool. The best on the market is Elements: http://www.zensmoke.com/elements.html

Oh, and obviously I am talking about rolling tobacco cigarettes. (Mexican tobacco, of course.)

I may be new to cigars, but I have about twenty years experience in the "rolling my own" department. Let me tell you that anyone that rolls their smoke in a cigar wrapper is a fool. The best on the market is Elements: http://www.zensmoke.com/elements.html

Companies like these with their flavored tobaccos and cigars are next on the FDA hit list.

I didn't know they had a comments site. You can only order once. I ordered last year. It certainly wasn't the greatest collection, but I got to review some cigars I never would've bought.

I did it a while back as well. The cigars weren't bad as I recall (good enough for me to do it twice under different email addresses ), but the only one I can remember the name of was a Torano "The Brick". It was before I joined this fine site and started keeping track of what I smoked.

On that site people said that at best they are seconds or bundle cigars they say most will be sandwich/short filler according to the comments. And Torano The Brick is a bundle brand like the Perdomo Fresco so the deal isnt really that great. Basically you get free shipping on some 1 dollar cigars, IMO.

minesman - 7/22/2008 11:08 AM When they redesigned the site I tried logging in but couldnt pass the age verification test.Still cant.

That happened to me when I first tried to register IDK I never got it to work i think they have a problem with it on their end. Although if you want to register email them and they will fix it and it will take about a week, this is how I became a member. I think its worth being a member sometimes they have 1-2 cigar giveaways for no reason. Also as stated they have monthly or bi monthly giveaways and contests. So just shoot an email their way and they will work it out. Good luck.

Oh, and obviously I am talking about rolling tobacco cigarettes. (Mexican tobacco, of course.)

Living 2.5 hours from Mexico has its advantages.

Living under the draconian laws of Texas has its disadvantages.

Thanks for the clarification...I got it now. Actually, I like states that are tough on crime. I don't always agree with them regarding what constitutes criminal behaviour...

There's a joke about Texas, that it's a vaild legal defense to say to the judge in your defense, "he needed killin'".

I have to hand it to you. You smoke a lot of cheap ass smokes. I respect that.
So good you missed the reiview in the Pink Berry and the Vanilla?

I guess Willie is testing their "draconian" rule

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/11/29/willie-nelson-likel...

Willie Nelson, who was arrested last week in Texas for having pot on his bus, has been charged with misdemeanor possession. Nelson was originally charged with carrying six ounces, a felony with a maximum sentence of two years in prison plus a $10,000 fine, but the amount was knocked down to four ounces, which carries a maximum penalty of one year and $4,000.

Maybe 6 ounces was what Willie considered to be a reasonable amount for personal possession. Some folks smoke a little more than others I reckon.

A former drummer friend of mine also works backstage at most of the big shows that come through here. Last time Willie came through, he invited him onto the bus after the show for the "after-party". The drummer said Willie opened up a cabinet and it was like a spice rack with jars of different types of pot.

I thought i hear that Pot is $400 an oz. in CO. While I'm sure Wille could afford that it is sort of like a $40 White Owl Grape!
