Last week Cigar King opened up their newly designed website and offered free shipping on all orders through the weekend. It had Liga Privada #9 Tasting Samplers listed for $53.95 (a great find and price since the LP#9's have been harder to find lately). So I ordered 2 of these + a 5 pack of Cigar King Aged Reserve Maduro Pyramids for $19 (these are a very good house brand that I enjoy.)
Turned out that the website still had a few bugs in it, the "live" inventory wasn't completely up-to-date, and they were out of the LP#9 Sampler (just like everyone else is). So Gary Spahr contacted me right away and asked me what he could do to make this right. He really came through on making things right!
In place of the LP#9 samplers (each had 5 cigars of various sizes, small to large), he substituted:
6 - LP#9 Corona Doble Oscuros (the most expensive LP#9)
4 - LP#9 Belicosa Oscuros (my favorite size!)
1 – LP T-52 Corona Doble
1 – My Uzi Weighs a Ton 660 (I haven't tried this new release yet)
1 - Curivari Reserva Limitada Café Café 52 (I haven't tried this one yet either, but I like the other Curivaris blends that I have tried)
Everything was delivered with humi-packs. Instead of just saying "Sorry, it's out of stock", Gary went out of his way to make a very happy customer (10 great LP#9's and 3 bonus cigars). Kudos to Cigar King!
