Don't get too excited.  I'm not giving anything away here.  I just thought I would share a list of places that supposedly give away fee cigars from time to time.  Some you have to submit an entry every month some just keep you in the drawing when you sign up.  Worste case you get spammed.  Best case you win some smokes.  :dancing:

BTW, I'm not reccommending any of these sites for buying cigars.  Buy at your own risk if you choose to.  Here's the list in alpha order.

Alec Bradley - Win a box of cigars each month.  You must re-enter each site.
http://www.alecbradley.com/wincigars.htm

Cigar 4 All - 2 Premium or 5 Bundled Free cigars.  You have to pay S&H (about $8).  Just add it to yor cart and check out.
http://www.cigars4all.com/FREE_Cigars.htm

Cigar Cyclopedia - Sign up once to be in the monthly drawing.

Cigar Family - Sign up once to be in the twice monthly drawing - The 1st and the 15th of each month.

Cigar Havana - Sign up to be in the monthly drawing.  It's not clear how often they have any drawings.

I admit I'm intrigued.... I assume they sell your contact information to telemarketers and the like.

I signed up for a few.  We'll see if I ever actually win anything.

So I gave in and ordered from Cigars4all.  Nice and easy, quick shipping.  My only complaint is that they shipped in an envelope rather than a box.  Luckily no damage was incurred.

I got 2 Cohibas and 2 Puros Indios...  :-)

And so I just ordered again, this time the 5 stick bundle  :dancing:

monteclaro

I ordered from them as well.  I got a Cohiba and the Puros Indios but only 1 of each.

I had accidentally put the freebie deal in the shopping cart twice.  Apparently they don't have a "limit one freebie per order" policy

SenorPablo

I also got the Cigars4All free order for a Cohiba and Puros Indios.

I also ordered the freebie from CVM.  It came with 6 low end cigars: 3 x El Credito, 2 x El Cauto, and a Trinidad y Cia Double Corona.  I can't say I was excited to see these but at about a buck a stick with S&H who knows.  At some point i'll try them or hand them out to moochers who dont smoke enough to know the difference.

I haven't gotten any spam that I could tie to them. Nothing tobacco related.

No luck with Cigar Family either. So, I emailed them from www.cigarfamily.com
The web site stated it had just reopened and update the middle of December.

At CVM Cigars it was difficult to navigate to checkout with a fake identity, once there I got a ship rate of less than $7 to Ft. Lauderdale FL. Good deal for 6 smokes.

In about thirty minutes I checked out all the links listed in the free cigar list, sent two emails to companys, navigated to check out in several sites to see the shipping rate for free cigar - Paul is close on all his notes above, and registered for five or six drawings. We'll see?

To Ft Lauderdale or from? If you are in Ft Lauderdale, let's meet for a cigarfest. I'm 40 min away.

Wait til you get the cigars. One or two will be OK. Three or four will be crap. None will be great. Personal experience. You'll get a lesson in smoking rolled tobacco clippings. Some use premium clippings and aren't completely worthless. But if you can get one dollar long-fillers that are decent, why settle for clipping that come out in your mouth? Check the reviews for decent dollar cigars.

I wish we were close enough to do that Larry, it would be a blast! The FL address was just part of my fake identity in order to get to their checkout page to see how much shipping would be on there free cigar offer.

Thanks for that link, Larry.  Anyone willing to give away some Opus' is a friend of mine.  And you never know, I might like something I see there.

I am editing to say that they have Anejo singles available!  That's rather exciting, especially since CI doesn't carry them.  They're pretty pricey, but hey, at least they have them.

You have to register, but they give out 5 free Opus X's every month.

These guys are really cool, I was in their NCAA Basketball bracket tourny. this year. You had to be invited, by registering to their site. They gave out 100's of cigars, including many Opus X. The first place prize was a 3000 count humidor with some Padilla cigars. At the end they gave all 450 participants an Arturo Fuente sampler completely free. It contained all the Fuente lines including Hemingway, Chateau, and Don Carlos, 7 cigars in all. They will be doing it again next year, so you guys should register now. cigarsdirect.com

Ah, if I would have known that, I would have played.

Duker511

I know, and Im sorry about that. By the time I heard about it, it was to late to enter. I was going to tell you guys about it for next year. They are going to have alot more contests, and give away alot more cigars. They really are a good bunch of guys, they give away tons of free stuff, and dont ask for anything in return, except to think of them when your ordering cigars online. They are a little expensive but they also are one of the only places to get top notch singles like Opus X.
