The sanding is done and the finish is on. I took it down to 320 grit and it needed more so I switched to 400 grit wet or dry and that did the trick. It wound up smooth as silk. I broke the sharp edges of the corners slightly, wiped off the dust, and did the penetrating oil finish thing. After it dries overnight I'll open it up and do just the edges of the humidor box. Getting the color right in the shots was a trick. A few of the shots are a little pale. The last one in the series is very close to what it really looks like. Keep in mind that this color will darken over time and take on a richer cast. Cherry is good for that since it darkens when exposed to light.
