| I have been living in Costa Rica for the past 18 years and have been buying my cigars locally. I miss the real Conn. Broadleaf maduro wrappers. Can someone recommend a daily smoke with Broadleaf maduro wrappers? I'll have them shipped to a friend in Texas and he can bring them down to CR for me. Pura Vida! |

| Hello John and welcome!
Well if you like flavors amped, I'd recommend CAO Brazilia. Also, pretty sure you'll enjoy anything by Ernie Carrillo with a maduro wrapper. Then there's the extremely high value bundles of Honduran Consurgras ($20=$30 or so for bundles of 20)-- such as the #16 Governor Maduro and the Principale #73 Maduro. And, from what I hear, the new Alec Bradley Maxx Brazilian Maduro is superb (but I haven't tried one yet).
There's a few suggestions to get your heart pumpin'.

| Welcome John from Washington State. I was able to enjoy Costa Rica while on a cruise a couple of years ago.
As far as broadleaf maduro cigars go, the Diesel unlimited would be a good choice and is reasonably priced.

| Have you tried any of the Vegas de Santiago cigars yet? I would think a local stick would be quite cheap?

| Yes I have. They are pretty damn good and I send quite a few to the states. They have a blend with Cuban tobacco brought to CR and then rolled at their factory...."Secretos del Maestro." Great folks at VdeS, real down to earth and very quality conscious. |
