Ok CG here we go..... 

 

Un-released   cigar from the Mad Scientist (Luis Sanchez) and The Cuban Tradition Cigar Group  "American Born Cubans" .

 ABC is available in one vitola, a 6.5″ X 57  ring size Torpedo with a swagged foot.  It has a very attractive,  chocolate-brown wrapper that is quite supple and almost oily to the  touch. These cigars are in very limited supply. The Mad Scientist  doesn't even have the boxes made for these.... that said they will only  be sold in 5 packs for $35.00 including shipping.  If interested please  email name, address and phone to cigars@tradicion.com.

Just sent him my info...I am finding I love the small guys the best...flatbed rocks and the cigar I was given to review (Paul Salic) was out of this world..I love this site as I have never found out about such great makers if not for you guys

I'm guessing since he is independent that he will. You will probably have to pay shipping though. Either that or buy enough to make it worth his while.

I see quite a few people have read this thread but, not too sure how many took advantage of the deal. The more responses Luis gets the more likely he will be to offer more good deals to CG members...... I was hoping we could talk Terry Johnson into offering up his new Tempio for CG next.

That's my hesitation on these as well.  Otherwise I would have pulled the trigger if they were a bit more manageable in ring size.

Duly noted! Unfortunately, the latest "FAD" seems to be large ring sizes which I also dislike. The same is true for the new Ora Vivo from Victor Vitale which starts with a 54 ring for the smallest vitola. Although it is one fine cigar, I just don't care too much for the giant fatty sticks and this is the only vitola I will smoke of the line. It seems that manufacturers have found a loophole in the tax code where cigar's weight plays a part in their taxation rates and it is being exploited.
