Michael (Ntxsage) decided to blow this trade off the face of the planet. All he asked of me was to send what I felt was fair. And he decided to bring to some other level. Not only did he send what I had asked for (2 drumsticks and 2 BOTL) but an extra BOTL corona and a super fine selection of cigars that I can't wait to smoke!    :cheer:  :smoker:

Glad you liked the package Jared. Well deserved for sure. You've made a big impression already around here. Let me know how you like that AKA and that opus is supposed to be over 5 years old.

I did see the '09 on the band, very generous of you. Can't wait to burn that baby down, maybe Christmas. I want to smoke that solace back to back with an Opus X thinking an Opus X PerfecXion X should fair. What is your recommendation to smoke first between the Solace and Opus?

Also, thanks a ton brother!

kxthor911

I would smoke the opus first so you truly get all the flavors out of it you can.

Thanks! Guessing the Solace is going to far outdo the Opus in the flavor department?

Well I have only had one Opus X so far and I believe that alot of their flavors are subtle. The Solace (also only had one) also had subtle flavors. The way I see it is your going to smoke if your going to smoke an opus you want a clean palate so I wouldn't smoke something else first.

Ntxsage

Yeah I agree with Nick...I'd want a clean palate since neither are powerhouse cigars. I've never had an opus that old, and I hear they get better with lots of age. The solace will have nowhere near the complexity of an opus, and really the cigars aren't in the same class in that respect. That said I've enjoyed the solace more than the young opus I've had.  Just picked up a few solace lancero and can't wait to try the small RG.
