So, we've moved all our stuff from the apartment to the new home. And I had a storage unit that I have cleared out and moved here as well, damn we had a lot of stuff!

But computer just came back up, and cigars are unpacked. Internet is provided by my cell at the moment, getting it installed in a week or so. My office, man cave, lounge is coming together nicely, although rather slowly.

We had some start up issues, but they are being solved. Dish washer that I'd kept at the storage unit was broken and leaked water all over the kitchen, replaced. The drain for the washing machine was plugged so it spilled water all over the washroom floor, rinsed and opened. And the electrics in the basement is kinda messy, electrician comes tomorrow. Gawd dammit the previous owners  

I am missing a fan and a door and then my man cave is smoke ready!   Attaching some pictures of it's current status.

Now for one glass of my finest Whisky and then off to bed

The switch is a 24 port managed smart switch, used to be part of the server rack when I lived in my previous house. Before the wife and kids, when I had enough space for a server room. Now I use it for all my computer, printer, scanner, UPS, docking station stuff. You don't have a server rack for your computer stuff? That's just crazy

Welcome back Thomas! glad the move went, mostly, well. We will be doing the same thing soon, as my wife and I close on our first house this coming Monday. Congratulations again!!

Thanks for all your wishes brothers! My wife is taking the kids to the cabin this weekend, so I have the whole weekend to myself! Man I can't remember the last time that happened, so I am hoping to get plenty of things done in the man cave. And smoke some cigars, if there is a herf this weekend; I am in!

I will of course keep posting pictures :) My wife has been very understanding from the beginning for my need for a man cave, I'm lucky to have her; she is awesome!
