Dear Fellow Geeks,

This is an open invitation for the newer members of our community to join the The Traditional Newbie Pass.

There are many pass themes, some more complex than others, but this pass is designed to get you acquainted with:

• The basic mechanics of a pass and the use of the associated forum and system tools to communicate the status of the pass
  [li] Your role and responsibility in participating in a pass including executing puts and takes with like value cigars
  [li] The role of the moderator in keeping the pass on track and ensuring the participants stay within the theme and rules of the pass

Probably more important, this pass is designed to deliver the fun and enjoyment of the hobby we all share in common!

If you are a newer member and want to be in a Pass to know what they are all about, this is THE pass to be in.

With Brad behind the wheel for this one along with all he vets that spoke up and want to help seed it, this is going to be one Epic pass and one you would regret not being a part of.

I was shy and intimidated when I joined my 1st pass a little over a year ago but the Geeks made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions, even the dumb ones and in the end, I came out knowing a little more about cigars and a whole lot more about passes, fellow Geeks and the geek generosity in general.

Look up the "Newb to Newbie Pass" thread to see what it's all about and any other Pass thread for that matter, as every single pass I was a part of has been fantastic. I have now been in 6 regular passes and each one has been a positive experience.

Don't miss that opportunity, I know I would participate if only I was still a newer member
