Don't know if anyone else has a computer with Windows 8.1.  If you do, it does not support Microsoft "picture manager" which is how I used to compress photos for this site.  I looked on some of the Photo hosting websites, but they would not compress pictures for me, or at least I couldn't figure it out.  Anyway, I stumbled across this site.  Super easy and FREE.  Check it out if you've ever been technologically  challenged to post a picture (Like Me)!.

I use the windows paint software that way I can crop the pictures as needed and resize them.
You should hurry up and acquire the cigar habit. It's one of the major happiness's. And so much more lasting than love, so much less costly in emotional wear and tear.
Aldous Huxley

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace.

Yup! I've got a couple different photo processing programs but it's far easier just to do it Paint.

Are there any mobile apps, or websites that can convert straight from your phone's browser by any chance?

I use windows 8 and use FastStone........ It does multiple files at a time......

But, for posting pics in threads, I still prefer a free hosting site since that gives one more control (since you can crop, rotate, and enhance) with higher definition and you can re-size using the text drop down box for inserting pictures in the text toolbar......

Photoshop as well for editing but I agree with Vroomp, free hosting is the way to go and frees up space on CG servers as well. I've just been too lazy to do so but I will in the future.

I use Imgur for Reddit, how do you post the pic instead of just a link via a host like that...or don't you? I'm such a noob to forums in general.
