It has been all out chaos here in Texas! My place is a lake but the house is dry thank God.  Say a prayer for those down here that have lost everything.  We went from drought to monsoon in a few months!
why isnt phonetic spelled like it sounds?

Hang in there, brother.  Sad to hear of the loss of life due to the floods.  Hoping for a little  :bright: soon!

My Father in law has been almost flooded lately. Incredible rain amounts.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.

Another round this morning and more expected this afternoon. The rural roads out here are still not passable in places so I'm stuck at home again. My mother in law had a mulberry tree wash out and fall through a picture window in her living room last night.  This is really getting nerve racking here, I can even go outside for a smoke there is so much water!

My backyard is a mini lake, but we ain't got it so bad. I helped a friend on Sunday remove trees and limbs from their yard, and they ain't got it so bad. Folks are losing homes, and their lives. Prayers and good thoughts to all Texans being affected by this weather. We really need the rain, but can do without the flooding. And it just started raining here at work...again.

Stay safe all you Texas bubbas! I spent more than a few years both in the northern and far southern parts and I know how fast those floods can develop.

Praying for your safety & relief from the flooding it's really bad down there. two months ago took the boats out of boathouse on lake fork afraid there wouldnt be enough water under them to get them out almost 8" low yesterday the water was 3' over the deck more rain forcasted here all week. Stay safe

Really bad what happened over there. You just never know anymore. Keeping our Texas brothers and sisters in prayers.
I used to sit outside all night and drink bud lite and smoke Marlboros and everyone thought I was a bum. Now I sit outside all night and drink craft beers and smoke cigars and everyone thinks I have class.

We've been getting hellatious amounts of rain over here in Beaumont, but because we're close enough to the coast the yards and streets are draining into the ocean, but the rivers are waaaay high and climbing.  Forecast for the next 48 hrs is for the rivers to crest 3' over flood stage so some unlucky folks along the Neches and Sabine rivers up stream are going to have a very bad time.


I'd rather have a cigar...
