:loser: Man do I feel stupid!  I have a tower humidor I purchased recently.  I placed it on my side of the bedroom alongside a fan I use to help sleep at night.  All day long the humidity maintained great.  I wake up in the morning and it would be slightly low.  I do some research online and move it to the other side of the room (no wife to be upset...LOL)  At last I wake up this morning perfect hygrometer reading and I still have my fan to sleep with!  Lesson learned.  Hope this helps others.

I had mine on top of my book shelf under the ac vent lol. Yep I feel ya man. It happens
I used to sit outside all night and drink bud lite and smoke Marlboros and everyone thought I was a bum. Now I sit outside all night and drink craft beers and smoke cigars and everyone thinks I have class.

At least it was a simple fix.

I had a similar problem with a dehumidifier. Even though I kept the RH at 70 with the dehumidifier it would send my hygrometer all out of whack

My humidor sits below an AC vent and works fine, keeps it @ 75 degrees which is acceptable considering I am in FL. I use beads in it and stays @ 62 - 65 % RH which is about where I like to it

That sounds just about right to me
