". . . for the man, or woman, who works in tobacco, a cigar is a gift in the form of a skillfully created roll of the plant he has struggled to cultivate and produce." -Roger Ralphs

Quotegitfiddl - 8/2/2016 7:51 PM I'm trying to burn through some older cigars, so I grabbed a Tabamex Rothschild out of one of my "moocher/yardgar" humidors. Armin (kola) had given it 3.5 stars a few years back, so I was expecting something halfway decent. This cigar was total crap. It had 5 years of aging so I was kind of expecting something a little on the milder, mellower side. What I got instead was a mouthful of strong, harsh burnt charcoal and black pepper. I tossed it short of the halfway point. And where did Armin go?
Kola is among a growing list of those that are now MIA.........
Quotegitfiddl - 8/4/2016 6:27 PMI smoked a Gran Habano/Rico Family Connecticut #1 Robusto that had just over 3 years' humi time on it. Pretty decent smoke.
