I'll have to make this short, since I am at work...

Took my lunch break and drove over to the Heroes and Legacies cigar shop here in Austin, TX. It's a really nice second-floor shop with a large balcony area for smokers (best they can do with the Austin smoking ban). They had a GREAT selection that includes a lot of cigars I can't find in the smaller shops I frequent (Mi Barrio, Tatuaje, ALL Graycliff brands, etc.)

I picked up a Xikar HC (they were sold out of the size that made the CA 2009 Top 25 list, so I went with a Toro), a Ambos Mundos No. 2 (robusto), and an Oliva O Maduro belicoso with the old band (last in the store) that was on sale for $4.

I can see myself going back weekly to start knocking off some of the cigars at the top of my wishlist.
Probably the best cigar shop I've been in so far.

I was born in Austin, and still have relatives in Round Rock & Georgetown.

I like ot go to Heroes whenever I'm in town, (usually about twice a year),

It's a great store, & the smoking lounge is really nice.  I've been thinking of getting a limited membership, that way the wife could spend time at the Barnes & Noble downstairs while I kinc back and enjoy a good stick and shoot some pool.

Fume in Cedar Park is a nice little cigar bar too.

Corey and I stopped by this shop when I was in Austin....this is a nice shop.  they have a large and well stocked walk-in humidor, and also sell desktop humis, pipes, pipe tobacco and accessories, and assorted gifts and what not.   A cool place with friendly staff...would recommend anyone who is in the Austin area check it out.

Sounds like a nice place.  I'll need to keep it in mind if I am ever in town.  $4 on that Oliva is good deal for a B&M.  :-)
