The hygrometer that came with my new humidor is really bad - not even close and isn't calibratable. (salt test) Ambassador 100 cigar bought from Thompson Cigars. Any idea where a blok could get one that diameter- -and quality ? Would love to have a decent one in that spot on front of box. Any ideas would be very helpful ! Thanks.

I agree with Chuck.  Leave the one you have in there, and put a Xikar inside the cabinet. Lifetime warranty (and they have replaced several of them for me).

Gotta agree on this one.  I've never seen an analog hydrometer that was accurate.  I'd just leave the built in one for looks and get a digital one to put inside.

Thumbs down - way way down - to all the cheap front mount models. I have not had any of those that I got accurate reads from. Like has already been said, I leave them on front for looks only and rely on the inside models for reads and conditioning.

I have front Analog Hydro that i need to replace also - I will look into this one - thanks for posting.

Agree with everyone else - they look "cool" but that is about their only use.
