Ok, I'm just a noob, but I had a really nice smoke while driving I-90 back from Spokane this morning. I got a little sleepy while driving over there on Thursday, so decided to boldly smoke a stogie on the way back in the expectation that the nicotine would perform its usual function and ramp me up enough to avoid eyelid droopage. Boy, did it ever. My pick for the task was nothing fancy, just another Po Boy from CI's sampler of that name, this one being the La Diferencia Cubana Churchill. I've had no bad stogies from this sampler so far, but this one easily wins the prize for best of the bunch, at least to this point as I'm not even half way through all of them yet. It tasted good, kind of mild to medium, draw was good, smoke volume good, burn was even nearly all the way through. It also had the finest ash I've gotten out of this sampler thus far, leading me to wonder if it isn't some quality long-filler that got snuck in when the other Po Boys had their backs turned. Anyway, it got me home, was a great smoke in the process, and the best part is I have another one. I think I'll save it for my next road trip.
