The Cigar: Oscar Valladares Wild Hunter Natural

The Specs:
Wrapper: Honduras
Binder: Honduras
Filler: Honduras
Country of Origin: Honduras
Strength: Medium-Full
Size: 6" x 52

Shipping: US addresses only [and Canada if the recipients accepts responsibility for import duties]
Due Date: January 25, 2020

The Hype:
Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. added a new line that addressed one of the situations for which a cigar seemingly hadn't yet been created: hunting. Named the Wild Hunter, it is a Honduran puro with two variations, a Natural version and a Maduro (Oscuro) version, with the wrappers for each cigar coming from the Copan region of Honduras. The binder and filler draw on tobacco grown on Valladares' farm, La Estrada a Copan, giving the smoker a full experience of Honduran flavor, according to the company.  We will be reviewing the Natural version.

The Reviewers:
Volunteers should be Veteran status or higher that have not done a Geek Critique review in December or January.  If you are interested, please indicate so in the forum below and Dan will confirm your selection.

1. McBryde (Emerson)
2. Brlesq (Bruce)
3. klamm143 (Kevin)
4. ntanner (Neal)
5. Cfickter (Chuck)

Note: A reviewer who posts their review late will receive neutral feedback. A reviewer who does not post at all will receive negative feedback. There are always exceptions to the rule and a reasonable excuse for tardiness or a no show will be respected and thus not counted against the reviewer. Our sponsoring members and our administrators make the choice of who is to participate in any particular Geek Critique and can be better informed of their choices with this initiative in place.

Thanks again to Dan for providing the cigar. And thank you to the reviewers.

Both Beegerply and nirab did the December critique, so they are waitlisted for now.

I made a mistake and corrected it above:  We're initially looking for volunteers (Veteran status or higher) that have not done a Geek Critique review in December or January (not Nov/Dec) in order to give everyone a chance at participating in these, and then we can take volunteers from Dec/Jan.

I'd be interested in participating if you're still hunting for people. I think I am ok on the criteria.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.
