I get so many of them (CI, Famous, Holt's, etc) they all go straight to recycling without me even looking at them.

Ditto.  Do nearly all of my shopping via the various emails I receive from the same companies that send me the catalogs.  And actually, the ones I buy from almost exclusively anymore (Cigar Page, Small Batch) don't even send me catalogs at all.  Hmm.

I get most of them and they suck.  I never read them, and I do hate them because I'm pretty environmentally conscious and recycle everything, but I'm too forgetful and lazy to remember to contact those companies to ask them to stop sending them, so then I hate myself.

It's a process.

I also get several. I'm indifferent. Sometimes I look at them sometimes they go straight to recycling. Typically the deals aren't real deals and it's mostly stuff I don't smoke anyway.

When I first started in this hobby, i went through them thoroughly. Looking at every cigar on every page and was probably prompted on several occasions to follow up and make a purchase online. It really didn't take too long until my preferences changed and the catalogs got looked at less though.

The catalogs from CI, Famous, Holt's and Cigar.com. are regular visitors to my mailbox. I used to browse through them while I was sitting outside smoking. These days they go straight into the trash.

I do and hate it.  These go straight into the recycling bin.  A waste of paper and postage

I used to love to get them and flip through them but as more places became internet-centric, I just toss most of them.  They are usually focused on whatever exclusive or big-brand they are pushing anyway.  But man, 10-15 years ago, I used to love to go through them.

They usually go straight into the recycling bin, but if something on the cover grand my attention I might take a glance.  I think I've ordered (online) once because of a cover deal.

Also, why you waiting until next July to do the drawing?  Thanks for the contest!

For me, this is a huge waste of effort on the cigar sellers side.  Like brlesq mine hit the trash walking from the mailbox to the house.

Lately, I've only been receiving the catalog from CI.  I check it out for a hot minute, put it down to do something else and then promptly forget that it's sitting on my desk.  From there it usually winds up in the circular filing bin.

tfkirk

I get about 8 of them every month, I still leaf through them to see how much difference the prices can be from retailer to retailer , some are outrageously different. Then I give them to a couple of my neighbors so they can find something they might want to try. Guess it's my way of recycling.

Thanks for doing this Rob.

I get them, and look through them at work, and then pass them on to a co-worker.
I wouldn't miss them if they disappeared...I've never made a purchase because of the catalog

I get em regularly and mostly look at em to see whats in there and read about some brands. It would not change what I buy from different companies if I never got another one.

ntanner

I have to admit I still flip through them every month but I have never ordered from one.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.
