Passes, bombs, and Canada

With all the cigar passes, bombs, contests, etc ... I am curious about how this affects our Canadian friends.  My father lives in Canada, and I would love to gift him from time to time, but he says the Canadian Revenue cops count sticks as they cross the border, and you soon get hammered with duties and taxes.

I am curious about any information or stories that the CG pass/bomb veterans might have about cross-border cigarfare.

It's been done without issue that I know of.  ;-)

It would be wise to be intentionally "vague" about what is actually contained with the package.

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'" -Jack Handy
