I would place a phone call to CI and explain the problem noting you have a photo you can e-mail to them if they want it.
I'm betting CI will offer to replace the cigars immediately without you having to send the damaged sticks back to them.

WOW! That was almost enjoyable, nice waiting music and a resolution to my problem!
So I called and told them the issue, and are sending a new 5 pack out tommorow! It was a pleasant interaction with them saying that "if any can be smoked then do so and if they can't don't worry I can throw them out".
