I'm thinking that tonight i'll have one of my Punch Cahmpions.  These babies just keep getting better with age.  But then I like to think I do as well!

Whats everyone smoking tonight?

My Smokes

I'll join you with a Punch.  This one is a Punch Pitas Maduro.  Had to make my dad a keylime pie for father's day tomorrow.  Found keylimes a trader joe's and found a great recipe for it on the internet.  This is both me and my dad's favorite desert.

Anyways after that i smoked the Punch.  As soon as I lit it I knew it was going to be a good smoke.  Just a great flavor but a little hard to draw.  After a few minutes I began to worry.  The thing ran like an illegal for the border - like a flare hitting a pipeline.  It caught a seam and ran for 2/3 of the smoke.  I spend 30 minutes wrestling with one side of it.  The whole time it was a great flavor though.  Towards the end it evened out and the burn was fine.  The draw remained a little tough the whole way before looseing up at then end.  I really wanted to give this a 5, and it the construction was better I would, but it gets a 4.

The wildlife was cool out on my deck.  Frogs in the pond were running at about a 3 or 4 (on a scale of 5.)  Not too fired up tonight.  I did get the sh*t scared out of me when a couple of deer ran up behind me and down past my deck to the woods.  Kind of cool but couldn't really see them.

Twenty years ago we had Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have no jobs, no cash and no hope. Please don't let Kevin Bacon die!
