Was just opening my mail and saw a package from Herb (Mark).  I was expecting one from him because he was kind enough to include me in the upcoming April Geek Critique of a Don Benigno cigar, and he told me it was on the way.

What I didn't expect was for a grenade to be hidden away in the box with the pin booby-trapped.  KABOOM!  In addition to the Don Benigno, I've been hit with a few other choice morsels:

Padilla Miami 8/11 Robusto
Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial Rothchilde Maduro
Gran Habano Corojo #5  Robusto

Thanks, Mark!  Totally unexpected. These are going to be some great smokes!

For some reason I have never smoked an SLR maduro, so I am really looking forward to it. Its really black, like a Punch Oscuro.  Don't know how I could have overlooked them all these years, especially since I was a pretty regular JR customer up until lately.

Nice!

Humi time for the SLR is good advice.

I'm with Les, the SLR Maddies are great! I've had a few boxes of them, a great deal!

But I really liked the name "Wish Stealer". It had a Native American ring to it. -Brlesq

A wise geek once told me that moving up from a daily smoke to a weekly or even bi-monthly smoke would be worth it, if I could learn how to appreciate a really really good cigar. -southernrun

Nathan (Hound10) and I split on a box of the SLR maduro's back in Aug. They're really nice cigars, I truely enjoyed the ones that I have smoked.
Forever seaching for the perfect cigar, one puff at a time.
