do you find it better for your cigars to store them with or without their cellophane wrappers.....need some opinions please !!!  :)

With, without a doubt!  There has been many a discussion here about this.  Cellophane breathes, so leave them wrapped.  Your cigars will age just fine with it on.  I think it's kind of cool to pull out a cigar where the cello has started to yellow.  I used to take the cello off, but after having several wrappers get torn when I was rummaging through my humidors, I decided to leave them on.

Some prefer to cut the fold-over or tag at the end, but I leave mine as they are.  Sometimes I'll write the day of arrival on the fold-over with a Sharpie.

And welcome to Cigar Geeks!  Go to the introduction forum and let us know a little about you.  Speaking of little, how do you feel about midget strippers?

I agree with David.  about 85% of my cigars still have cellophane on them.  Its up to you.  Im doing my own study I have some same cigars with and without cellophane. In a few months im going to smoke them back to back to see if there are the same.  I say that they will be the same.  Ill keek up updated when I smoke them.
But I really liked the name "Wish Stealer". It had a Native American ring to it. -Brlesq

A wise geek once told me that moving up from a daily smoke to a weekly or even bi-monthly smoke would be worth it, if I could learn how to appreciate a really really good cigar. -southernrun

Welcome aboard,

And this topic has been literally beaten to death.  Do a search of the archives and you will find every possible opinion.

Myself??  A moderate in all things, I clip the end of the cello to allow better airflow and still offer some protection.

Please, please go look it up with the excellent search feature!  That said, welcome and as has been mentioned already introduce yourself in the newcomer's thread.  We'll give you a welcome you won't soon forget.

Welcome to the geeks.

Do you know where your cigars have been? Or who might handle them next? Always wear a condom.

Seriously ... cellos breath fine, the cigars age fine in them, and the cello saves them from getting beat up.  Don't let them be unprotected while you rummage looking for that one stick that is somewhere in there ... it can get real ugly real quick. After you lose a couple of your expensive beauties to your meaty paws, you'll understand.

Hey! How come Habana is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

A day without whiskey is like . . . just kidding, I have no idea!

Don't bash the new guy!  He probably did try to search, but kept coming up with stories about Sugar Britches and pictures of midget strippers!

Welcome to the site.
I recommend using protection (i.e a "wrapper") for all your sticks.  Going without the wrapper looks nice in the box, but is risky should your stick(s)t come into contact with fluids (e.g. water from humidity device).  :-)

My advise is to start drinking, heavily!

As I listed in my thread that I started about this topic, which I previously posted the link for above, I prefer to clip both ends of the cellos. I think it helps them absorb the moisture better, but still have some protection.

To each there own, so what ever you choose is fine.

I leave the cellophane on. For me, it provides protection from moving them around in the humidor. The cellophane is supposedly porous, so they'll still be able to receive proper humidification.

My claws are so meaty that I don't even dare to clip the edges. They'll manage to fall out the open end, for sure.

I should add that once a few years ago I removed all the cellos from all the cigars I had back then and boy did I regret it! Everything that can happen will happen without the protective covering. If, however, you are PERFECT, you can remove them and nothing bad will happen.
