Updated.

Good Morning Geeks. If you bid on the auctions, and you are not listed in this spreadsheet (the latest revision is linked at the bottom of page 6 of this thread), please post your bidder info so that nwb can get you added to the spreadsheet.

Thanks, and good luck with your bids.

I didn't see my ID on there so if you see me on there...it's GV in Dallas and I pretty much win most auctions I put in for only because I study CBID like it's my SAT test...it's an awful addiction.

Updated.

Good Morning Geeks. If you bid on the auctions, and you are not listed in this spreadsheet (the latest revision is linked at the bottom of page 6 of this thread), please post your bidder info so that nwb can get you added to the spreadsheet.

Thanks, and good luck with your bids.

It's been 16 months since this list has been updated. So, if you buy on the auction sites, and care to coordinate efforts with the rest of CG:

Just a heads up: read the spreadsheet that nwb posted: you need to provide 4 pieces of information.

Auction handle on Cbid
Auction handle on Cigarauctioneer
Auction handle on Thompson Auctions
email address IF you want people to be able to communicate with you via email when you step on their auctions.

AND, it is suggested that you put either "Cigar Geeks" or "CG" in the comments field of every Cbid auction that you place a bid upon.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

I guess I'll get back to putting CG on my bids, I only bid on cbid, but I have never seen any comments from bidders that I'm going against. So after a year of being careful about that I figured either nobody's doing it or there's just such a high volume of stuff being moved every day that the chances are low that this actually happens.

The reality is I lowball the auction sites because they're auction sites. If I want to pay full price or something close to it I wouldn't bother with them, I would just go buy it, so I fully expect to be outbid in the vast majority of what I bid on and routinely do get outbid. So the odds of me outbidding a geek are not high and I'm not offended if I get outbid, even by a geek. If I did outbid you, then boy are you CHEAP!

I added my cbid handle to the spreadsheet.

Gary, John, thanks for the updates. I've been buying a few sticks on CBid this week, and have yet to see CG other than opn my bids. I always look for the bidders handle and compare it to this list before bidding.
