As mentioned before the wife and I grabbed a bottle of wine and sat out on the deck.  I had a chance to fire up one very good smoke - the Fuente Double Chateau.  I think I will probably give it my first 5 star rating.  This was one fantastic smoke.  Not too strong, so if you want a fuller body cigar this one isn't for you.  I'll write something more up in the reviews about it.  I let the wife choose the wine and she of course took the oppurtunity to pull a white.  I am not a big drinker of white wines and it was definitely not a good match for the cigar.  A full bodied Cab would've been much more in line.  The frogs in the pond were running kind of quiet tonight - more on a 3 star level.  Only one or 2 competing for the alpha spot.

It was a great finish to a full father's day.  Hope everyone else had a great day as well!

Twenty years ago we had Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have no jobs, no cash and no hope. Please don't let Kevin Bacon die!

I like the frog update!

We had family in town for the weekend.  What a full house and made for a busy time.  Its always god to see them, but hell - i'm glad their gone!  Things are quiet again and I got some peace back.  Decided to have a nice Partagas Black Clasico.  These are good cigars.  I like them because of the flavor in the wrapper...just an oily beast.  Gives a nice spicey smoke.

Well time to hit the hay.  I feel like I could sleep a week!

Cheers!  And hope everyone had a great father's day.  It really is the one day made for all of us dads.

I know how stingy you are with your 5 star ratings so the day we get a 5 star frog rating i know its the apocolpyse or some s**t comin in your pond!

Hope everyone had a cool father's day.  I know it was a hot mofo yesterday.  We had a bunch of neighbors get together with the kids playing out in the sprinklers.  Dad's sat around with some nice Margaritas.

Put me in the new mood for a Mexican smoke so I pulled out one of my Te-Amo No. 2s.  I've had these things aging for over 6 months now.  Not a bad Mexican smoke.
