So the doorbell rang this morning, and woke me up along with the kids and dogs. I thought to myself it can't be UPS, because my cigar shipment isn't due until tomorrow. When I looked outside the UPS guy was driving away. Hoo-ray!!! My cigars came early. When I opened the door there were two packages. My cigars from Cibarbid.com and a larger package from Armin labeled with that french word, fragile. (Sorry little Christmas Story reference) I thought to myself this can't be good.

Back in March I sent Armin a Cigar/Beer Bomb because he commented on one of my beers I had posted a picture of in my photo album. Then a couple weeks ago he accidently out bid me on some cigars which eliminated me from winning, so he said he would make it up to me. Well, today I received what I'm calling the apology and payback's a bitch bomb.

Thanks Armin!!! Those beer's look good and I've been wanting to try that Old Engine Oil, so I'm looking forward to that one. Thanks for tossing in a couple of the La Flor de Cano's you accidently out bid me on also. :rocker:

Just for future reference you can outbid me anytime on Cigarbid as long as it makes you feel as guilty as it did this last time.

Oh man, let me know how that Old Engine Oil is when you get around to it.  I've been wanting to try that one for a long time.

What a great bomb!

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'" -Jack Handy

Hey Bryan, glad you got the package.  Somehow the sheet that belonged with it didn't make it into the box.

Left Hand's Fade To Black is one of my favorite beers, but some people find the flavors a bit too bold for their tastes. The Washington Porter is brewed just down the road 30 minutes from me at historic Williamsburg. The Legends brewery is even closer, and their Brown Ale is among the better ones available anywhere (imho). Old Engine Oil is just good stuff

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of each of the beers, and hopefully you find the cigars enjoyable too.

Hey Armin... Have you given any thought to starting a companion site to Cigar Geeks, and Wine Zealots?  You could call it Beer Nuts.

I'll definitely let you know how they are. I was going to crack one open last night, but I had one of my Quilter's Irish Death's sitting in the fridge, so I went with that instead. Man I love that beer. As for the cigars... they will be enjoyed for sure.

The specialty beer shop in town carries Left Hand products, so if the Fade to Black is good then I'm hoping I'll be able to get more.

I need to look for that Quilter's Irish Death around here. That stuff was amazing! It would taste even better if I had one at my desk right now!
