I guess during a conversation at work a couple of weeks ago, my fiance overheard one of her co-workers talking about a cigar he liked, and she piped up and said she had tried one of those before too. Before long the group of them are talking about cigars, collecting, smoking etc. So this brings us to today, Whitney goes into work and she bumps into the same guy she had been talking too, and he says "So your fiancee smokes cigars still right? And she says yes, and he goes "well here, give him these" and hands her a cigar bomb right in the middle of Lowes!! She didn't know how to defuse it, so she brought it home to me as soon as her shift ended.

Anyways, I've never met this guy before, and based on what Whitney had told him about what I like to smoke, this is what he bombed me with! I'm blown away with this gesture, and I'm going to put together a nice little package for him too.

Wow, that is fantastic!  You should introduce him to CG, he sounds like a worthy BOTL.
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'" -Jack Handy

Why isn't he a member here?

Excellent Question.  We need to get Don Pablo to send Greg some cigar geeks business cards.

Great bomb you got there Greg.

I'm going into work with my fiancé on Tuesday to bomb this guy back. I'm going to talk to him about cigargeeks while I'm there too. Whitney did mention that I posted here while they were talking a few weeks back, and he mentioned that he posted on a forum too, but she said it wasn't here, or puff, which was my second guess. She mentioned that he said it was a longer forum name, and she couldn't remember it. Either way I'm going to tell him about cigargeeks, and this thread. He apparently has a collection of over 1000 cigars, and has a big order of 5 Vegas cigars on the way that he's just ordered.

This being said the cigars he left me with really blew me away. I'm looking forward to being able to meet him, and hopefully he'll appreciate my bomb as much as I did his.

That's the beauty of BOTL's.  Always willing to share a great cigar with someone.

If it was cigarettes, do you think you would have been bombed with a carton?  Probably not.

This guy sounds like all of the great people I've met on CG. And his bomb looks like something that would come out of my own collection...

nice score. BOTL's like that are good to find.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I used to be a people person, but then people ruined that for me.
