I get home yesterday only to find that the mailman stuffed my lockbox so full that I couldn't open it.  I called the post office and let them know.

I get home today and BOOM!  Gitfiddl Dave read of my lighter woes and sent me a brand new lighter along with:

1-Pinar Del Rio Habano Sungrown Torpedo
1-Tatuaje Havana VI Robusto
1-Perdomo 2008 Limited Edition Robusto
1-Perdomo Patriarch Robusto
1-Espinosa y Ortega Cubao Torpedo

I'm totally blown away!  Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Dave strikes again!  Well done sir.  I'm curious what kind of lighter that is ... looks pretty sturdy.

He got it from buylighters.com but there's no manufacturer name on it.  I like it though.

Enjoy, my brother!  And you are very welcome.  I hope the cigars are to your liking.  The lighter isn't much to look at, but the one I've got just like it has run flawlessly for over a year on a diet that runs from dimestore Ronson and Zippo stuff to Vector and Xikar.  Mine even has teeth-marks from where one of my pups got ahold of it!  Consider it my way of saying thanks for being a part of Cigar Geeks!

That's "MISTER Guru" to you!  Or you can call me Dave, or Git... anything but Lowpro... or Bob... :shades:

The lighter came from www.buylighters.com which is affiliated with www.cheaphumidors.com.  Our fellow Cigar Geek Simcha had a bit of an issue with them last year that was resolved in a positive manner.  They always have some sort of combo deal going on.  I've bought over a dozen of their budget lighters and have yet to get a dud.  In my experience, they'll eat any butane you feed them, although like any lighter, they prefer the good stuff.

I'm right 98% of the time.  Who cares about the other 3%?

I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.
