"Todos Las Dias is my personal Spanglish translation meaning "All the Days." The workers at Joya de Nicaraguan often cringe at my casual butchering of their mother tongue, but in my opinion cigars are far more than a grammar lesson to abide, they are the physical manifestation of a feeling and of an experience. TLD embodies the classic bold flavors that represent the heart of their soil's peppery tobaccos and the labor of their always working hands. For me, this spicy Nicaraguan puro reflects no pretentious airs or any of that "notes of pencil lead with a hint of fennel" nonsense. It is an honest, hardworking cigar intended to be smoked by men who know what it means to be a cigar smoker and never give a damn about what others think."
- Steve Saka, creator of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

Todos Las Dias is the strongest cigar to date from Dunbarton, using a high-priming, Nicaraguan puro blend that showcases Jalapa and Estelíano tobaccos in the filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and a Cuban-seed, Nicaraguan wrapper. This blend has been specially chosen to highlight the fiery, bold qualities of Nicaragua's intense, volcanic soil. And Steve has specifically blended TLD to begin on the mellow side—slowly ramping up to the Nicaraguan powerhouse experience that diehard, experienced smokers crave! This is the complete reversal from the usual blending style of starting with a bang before mellowing in the later portions of the smoke.

This cigar was enjoyed with Iced Tea

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

Slightly dry wrapper with one small vein. Stick was very firm with no soft spots. Pre Light aroma was just faint tobacco and earth. Pre Light draw was the same.
cap is well applied but also quite firm for sitting at 65/65 in my humidor for weeks.

Lighting and Burn: 14 Points of 15 Possible

Burn was razor sharp right down to the last inch where it wavered just a bit but no correction was needed. Ash was pretty solid and dropped off in about 3/4 inch increments. Smoke volume was excellent.

Construction: 26 Points of 30 Possible

Draw was surprisingly spot on for as firm as the cigar felt. Wrapper is nice and smooth but you could see a pretty distinct color variation at the seam. Cap was also quite firm but took a straight cut perfectly.

Flavor and Aroma: 30 Points of 45 Possible

1/2; First flavor I got was PEPPER and a lot of it, retrohale was literally painful at the start, some leather and earth flavors are there but mostly muted by the overwhelming amounts of pepper. About 1 inch in a slight metallic taste came into play(I personally do not find this a bad thing).
2/2; Pepper has backed off very slightly but is still dominating the cigar with the leather and metallic in the background and the earthiness has all but left. Tongue has a bit of a burn by the end of the cigar

Summary

Overall this is a well constructed cigar but to me the pepper was quite overwhelming and muted everything else that was there. This is definitely a in your face spicy pepper bomb, if that is your thing this is most definitely a cigar to give a try. I just found it to be a bit much for my personal taste.
