I'm sure the food is great, but I'd trade a couple big ol' pork sammiches for his once regular Friday night drunken ramblings!

:-( We want our Bob back!

Maybe we should just be patient.  The patrons at the restaurant may send him back to us shortly.

Unless they turn the restaurant into a comedy/stand up rant club :dancing:

You know what they say about all work and no play!  About the first time some customer gives Bob a ration and he gives them the patented Bob Response he'll get fired and be forced to come back to the forum for entertainment.

That what I thought when I helped out in my parents' pancake house one day several years ago.  I started off as a water hauler and got fired from that job because I accidentally dumped a glass of ice water down a 4 year old's back.  I got demoted to toast butterer and then to table clearer in short order.  Guess I wasn't cut out for customer service!

I think Bob is a stand up guy for what he's doing. Yeah, he's missed here, but I bet right now he'd be missed a lot more at the restaurant.  Maybe once they get past the startup phase they'll be able to hire in help and give the poor old fart a break.

I've missed you fellas but I gotta cowboy up here, I'm not used to this, selling insurance isnt quite this hard. I'm old and giveout but I think I'm losing weight, smoking and drinking less!

The main kitchen gal looked at me about one o'clock today and said " do you have a xanax, Tony's driving me crazy"

Havent seen my kid in two weeks now, shes working and going to college, thats a bummer!

Better take a night off before you try the coochie machine, Bob.  Old guys need a little extra strength to handle that stuff.

Hang in there because stress makes you stronger.

October 24 is my choice.

Bob, a few words of advice from a guy that used to spend 10 hours a day on his feet:  Nothing beats good shoes!  Go get you at least a couple of pairs of decent shoes (Rockports come to mind) and don't wear the same pair two days in a row.  And don't take this the wrong way, but a couple of pairs of "support" socks might not be a bad idea either.

Very true, especially about not wearing the same pair 2 days in a row.

Now the visual image I got of Bob in his smoking jacket and just some "support" socks is ............. well, disturbing :lmao:  :lmao:
