There is not a lot know about this one but here is what was published by Halfwheel - "The star of the show is the Viaje Skull and Bones M?stery BP 2018, the first M?stery release since 2015. The company declined to disclose any further details about the cigar, but it’s listed as “BP” a likely sign that it is box-pressed.

This cigar was enjoyed with Ice water

Pre-Light: 20 Points of 20 Possible

Real good looking stick with a closed foot and a box press. The stick almost looks seamless and has a oily sheen to it.It has a nice even pak and It appears to have no soft spots. The triple cap is applied expertly and it has a nice aged tobacco smell to it.I can hardly wait to put it to the torch

Light & Burn: 10 Points of 15 Possible

The stick cuts easily and the draw is spot on.When I spark it up it performs flawlessly with great smoke output, which you really don't have to work at to achieve.I find this to be a slow burner. The ash is a dark speckled grey, flacky and holds on for about an inch at a time. The burn I have to say is wonky right from the get go and I have to touch it up twice. This is the only real fault I can find with this stick.

Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible

The construction of this stick is top notch. The wrapper is silky smooth with  no  visible seams. There is an oily sheen to the stick and I can certainly find no soft spots. The cap is expertly applied. This is just one well put together cigar

Flavor: 33 Points of 35 Possible

I fire this baby up and it and get ready to enjoy. The smoke output is spot on and the finish is long with a woody after taste. It feels like there is an oily flim covering my lips and mouth.I get some oak and nutmeg with a sweet spruce. The retro produces some spice and pepper but nothing over the top. This 3rd lasts .about 30min.

2nd Third-This starts out very similar to the first but the finish is getting shorter and believe it or not it is getting smoother. The smoke is still creamy and oily.I'm not getting as much oak now but there is some cinnamon ,with a little barnyard and there is still that Sweet spruce. This third lasts 25min.
Last Third-I don't get a lot of changes in this but it still stays super smooth. This is one nice stick. The pepper and the spice on the retro at no time get sover powering.I smoke it for another 20min.and throw it in the ash tray

Summary

I would like to thank Brian for a chance to review this stick, .From start to finish it kept my interest and was a pleasure to smoke. If you ever get a chance to grab one do.
The only fault I could find in this was the wonky burn, may be it was just one of those sticks.
This was certainly one of the better sticks I have smoked lately.
