Anyone interested in a March Madness bracket contest? I propose that everyone participating would put up a single $8-12 stick (identified beforehand). Depending on participation, up to the top 3 scorers would split the pot. Anyone interested?

I'd be interested.  You might want to make it more than just a single stick though, maybe a 5 pack?  One stick hardly seems worth the shipping cost and there might not be much of a pot to split either...

Down for whatever. Depends on the level of interest. If we go fives and there's like 20ppl, that's a BUNCH of sticks. Not sure what everyone's storage capacity is.

I'd like to participate if possible. Either level is ok with me. 5er or single.

I'd be in for sure.

Yeah, I was thinking about the superbowl pool as a gauge on that, Dan only got 10 people I think to get in on it.  Whatever you want to do is fine by me.

Alright, well Selection Sunday is right around the corner.  Looks like, as of right now, we've got 4 folks interested. I'm more than willing to put up a fiver for this. I'll set up something on CBS Sports and open it up to everyone.  Historically, I've done a seed x round multiplier to promote people picking underdogs instead of everyone just going top 5 seed. How does that sound?

Alright folks, matchups have been set and brackets are open. If you wish to participate, brackets close at tipoff, which is 12:15p on Thursday. Please make sure you have joined the pool and completed your brackets by then. Good luck to all!

Do you want us posting a pic of our 5er?

Texas Tech hurt 1/2 even more. Whole quadrant gone!

Yeah, the South is a hot mess for me now, only Houston left that can get me any points.

Welp, I'm mathematically eliminated thanks to Clemson, looks like this is a 2 horse race between Michael and Jason.  Good luck guys, I'll start getting that 5'er ready!

Yeah, I already won my neighborhood bracket last night. Only person that didn't pick Kentucky or Houston. Also, 10 folks in my family bracket. All but 4 are busted and out. Rough tournament!

Glad I didn't get in on this as my bracket is terrible this year.  Houston and Illinois killed me.   Of course the handful of other bad choices I made along the way didn't help either.

Since I am the biggest loser where am I sending the 5 pack?

headfirst

It depends on what Purdue does...Jason needs them to keep winning to overtake Michael.  If they lose this next game Michael wins.

Wow, Michael wins by a single point!  Congrats man, I'll get my sticks out to you sometime this week.

Thanks guys, enjoyed it.  Came down to the last game, unfortunately I had another bracket that Purdue winning would have netted me $500, but this is a pretty sweet consolation prize.
