http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckKMqR7HmEwSpringtime is finally here! What better way to kick it off, then to have a springtime style ale, and an added bonus is it's from our favorite local brewery, Mt. Carmel Ale.
Upon cracking it open, we smelled the beer and it was nice, smooth, and crisp. A lighter amber color when poured with plenty of carbonation. Upon drinking, we noticed a little hops with a crisp smooth taste. It is a lot lighter than we had originally thought, and although it's not the best ale we've tried from Mt. Carmel it's still a decent addition to their collection of brews. It's not a holy grail of ale, but is definitely a decent brew worth trying before their gone. We will continue to seek out the holy grail of ale.
