The Hype: At Cházaro, we carefully select the best San Andrés Negro tobacco leaves harvested in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz. The leaves are traditionally cured in barns for many months, after that they are fermented for 3 years. The Habana Cházaro cigar gives in more to the touch, completely smooth and perfectly made, its color is characteristic of the Habana leaf, a cigar with a pleasing quality profile. The cigar is composed of 50% strong tobacco and 50% mild tobacco giving the smoker a medium strength smoking experience.

Pre-Light: 9 Points of 10 Possible
This was a nice sized cigar. It had a beautiful silky milk chocolate brown wrapper. Nicely constructed and capped. Aroma of sweet leather and earth. Pre-light Draw hinted of cocoa and leather and I couldn't wait to light it up.
Lighting and Burn: 13 Points of 15 Possible
Toasted it and it had a perfect burn from start to finish. The draw was spot on and the ash held for 1/2 inch at a time. The smaller size meant a quicker burn rate but that did not ditract from the enjoyability of this cigar.
Construction: 30 Points of 30 Possible
This was a very well constructed cigar. As mentioned, nice brown wrapper with no visible seams. Very smooth wrapper and it was rolled professionally. It seemed packed just about right and felt firm to a gentle "squeeze".
Flavor and Aroma: 41 Points of 45 Possible
Most cigars I smoke tend to have an initial spicy kick on the first draw. Not with this one. It was smooth from the start. My initial flavor was of sweetness, almost creamy cocoa and that stayed consistent through the first third.
Midway through the 2nd third until the end, it I picked up a bit of leather with a nice sweet tobacco taste. It had a creamy mouth feel and paired perfectly with black coffee.
Summary
Thank you to nirab (Brian) for allowing me to participate. I really enjoy doing these reviews because it forces me to be more aware of things when sitting down to review a cigar.
This was an excellent little cigar. It was enjoyable from the start to the final puff, which ended up being a small nub! This was my first Chazaro but it definitely won't be my last. This was an excellent medium profile cigar and a good every day smoke.
