The Hype: At Cházaro, we carefully select the best San Andrés Negro tobacco leaves harvested in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz. The leaves are traditionally cured in barns for many months, after that they are fermented for 3 years. The Habana Cházaro cigar gives in more to the touch, completely smooth and perfectly made, its color is characteristic of the Habana leaf, a cigar with a pleasing quality profile. The cigar is composed of 50% strong tobacco and 50% mild tobacco giving the smoker a medium strength smoking experience.

This cigar was enjoyed with Water
Pre-Light: 9 Points of 10 Possible
Smooth wrapper with very minimal veins. Cap is uniform and holds perfectly after being cut.
The cigar is firm, no soft spots. Unfortunately I just washed my hands so the I can't really smell the cigar, I just smell blackberry. The cold draw tastes of burly pipe tobacco... well I think that's it, very limited experience on that end.
Lighting and Burn: 12 Points of 15 Possible
Decent smoke volume, really can't complain but I would enjoy just a bit more. Could be that the draw isn't perfect even after that stabbing with the Perfect Draw tool. Little better volume after the half way point.
The ash doesn't hold on that long, maybe half an inch or so, not very sturdy. Classic salt and pepper colored ash.
No relights or touch ups required. The burn was near perfect.
Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible
Draw was a little tight, but one stab of the perfect draw fixed that, was a bit of plug not too far in. Nothing major.
The wrapper is near perfect aside from some very minor veins. The cap held on after being cut.
Flavor and Aroma: 20 Points of 45 Possible
1st Half - Starts out with the pipe tobacco flavor, but could be left over in my mind. Bit of earth, definitely burnt tobacco/ash. Hints of an earthy/wood combo tries to come through the burnt tobacco taste. It leaves a weird and not awesome after taste at the top of the throat.
This cigar is just not my jam, or I'm having a bad tongue night. I'm half way through and done with this review. It's just not working for me.
Summary
Fantastic construction, superb performance, burn and smoke. Just not my jam at all flavor wise. I can't get past the burnt tobacco/pipe tobacco flavors.
Thanks to Brian for giving me the chance to try it. I didn't put it out, I smoked the entire cigar. I just didn't want to bag on too bad so I quite typing up flavors.
