"Clinton had to do a lot of public-relations gymnastics to hide the fact that he not only liked to have an unlit cigar in his mouth, but that he liked to light them up, too." - Cigar Aficionado
The Hype: Keeping in line with the rest of the Lost & Found cigars, these are vintage sticks that Robert Caldwell "discovered" in his travels and re-branded for limited release. The original Pepper Cream Soda was released in 2014 as a Robusto. This Corona Gordo, hailing from the original Robusto 2006 variety, is limited to 3,200 cigars.

This cigar was enjoyed with water
Pre-Light: 9 Points of 10 Possible
Semi-dry wrapper, kinda rustic looking, with a couple of veins, yet with some smoothness. The cap is well applied, and stays intact after straight cutting. Cannon is on the soft side, with some give when lightly pinched. Aroma off the foot is slightly sweet.
Lighting and Burn: 13 Points of 15 Possible
Burn is fairly even, had to touch up at the beginning, but no issues. Ash is semi-solid, holding in 1/2" chunks. Ash color is a nice white n' gray, with some speckling of black. The burn is pretty slow, especially for this size. No relights were needed. The smoke volume is good, on the medium side.
Construction: 27 Points of 30 Possible
The draw was fairly open, but had a nice balance of resistance. The wrapper is well applied, even with the veining, and that had no bearing on how the cigar smoked. The cap was well applied, and held intact for the duration of the smoke.
Flavor and Aroma: 39 Points of 45 Possible
The cigar starts off with a flavor profile fitting of the name. Nice peppery tones, with a creamy finish. It is on the dry side, and the flavors really stay on the palate. Underneath all that is a faint sweetness. The second third finds the same profile, but I also find a touch of woodiness, which helps the other notes really shine. The finish is pretty much the same, but the pepper picks up a bit, followed by the wood notes. The aftertaste is heavy, and lingers on the tongue and palate. There is a slight bitterness as well. Smoke was smooth, but little in the area of complexity.
Summary
Overall, I enjoyed this cigar. The uptick of woodiness in the finish was a bit more than I enjoy, but, it did not take away from the enjoyment of the cigar. Thank you to Kent for including me in this GC review. Much appreciated!
