Pre-Light: 8 Points of 10 Possible

Nice looking stick for sure. Dark oily looking wrapper, mine was rolled well, no hard lumps or stalks. Bunched nice and tight, hope the draw is good. Triple cap wasn't applied the best but it held on and cut clean.

Lighting and Burn: 12 Points of 15 Possible

Smoke volume was great, I was worried since the roll was a bit tight, I might have issues with the draw, but not at all. Stick smoked great, plenty of draw. It started off a bit wavy but a few touched up and it was fine. Ash was a light grey & white, flaky.

Construction: 26 Points of 30 Possible

Stick was put together nicely, draw was great. As again I was a bit worried as it felt a little tight, but performance was excellent. Wrapper was selected nicely, great dark color, no super prominent veins, can cap was just applied a bit unevenly, but didn't affect cutting or smoking. Double banded, which I'm usually not a fan of, but these came off easy, and didn't damage the wrapper...that as many know is a huge pet-peeve of mine, so I was happy.

Flavor and Aroma: 40 Points of 45 Possible

Stick was in the medium range in strength & flavor for me. It got a little more intense as I made my way into the final 3rd, but overall it was fairly consistent. It started out with a nice sweet cedar & tobacco smell, had some earthy-woody bite to it, but it wasn't overpowering or intense, it was nice. The black pepper starting creeping into the 2nd 3rd n got more intense moving into the final 3rd. Taste was good, like I said not overpowering and fairly smooth.

Summary

I'd like to thank Kent & Geeks for letting me submit this critique. Not normally a brand I'd smoked much from, so not very familiar with their lines, but this stick performed well. I had it pegged for about a "mid-80"s" stick & I believe I came out around 86...so slightly better than I thought it would be while smoking. Wasn't overly complex, just a good medium body smoke that was consistent. Thanks again for letting me review!!
