This cigar was enjoyed with New Castle Brown Ale

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

What a nice looking cigar looking like a silver wrapped tampon, very classy looking package, much like mine! The wrapper was nice snd shiny and looked very well construted, slight veins. The clip was very even and had a earthy pre-draw flavor.

Lighting and Burn: 12 Points of 15 Possible

The light and clip was very nice, the draw was only slighty restrictive allowing a ton of thick smoke! I noticed a fairly dark ash that was somewhat marbled and flaky. This cigar was very easy to light and took to a spark like a moth to a flame

Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible

The cap clipped very nicely, lit easily and the draw was just as Ilike it with a bit of restriction but still allowing a ample amount of smoke. I dont like the wide open draw that gets hot before you even get it to your mouth!

Flavor and Aroma: 30 Points of 45 Possible

Here is where this cigar shines, the flavor! I got some leather, coffee and coco notes on the light, very full flavored but smooth, not harsh as many full flavored cigars tend to be. The after taste was very pleasing, maybe the most pleasing attribute of this smoke.

Half the way in I git some nice baker's chocolate flavors with some bitter sweet leather leather notes.

Towards the last third the chocolate and sweet flavors seemed to dominate along with some spice and floral nose hints. This cigar was very complex at this point.

Summary

In summary, this is a very expensive tasting cigar that should be smoked when you have time to pay FULL attention and not miss the complexity and nice nuanes' of this smoke. I really enjoyed smoking this one and REALLY appreciate Dennis including me in this Staff Review. A real nice cigar from a real nice guy!
