Pre-Light: 17 Points of 10 Possible

This cigar looks a little rugged and rustic, but I tend to like that, so this is a plus for me.  The pre-light aroma was earthy, reminiscent of freshly tilled soil and very pleasant.  The pre-light draw was very light and clean.

Lighting and Burn: 13 Points of 15 Possible

This stick had a slightly uneven burn for the first 2", but self-corrected and held a fairly even burn thereafter.  The ash was light grey and pleasing to the eye.  The ash held on for about 2" before finally falling off. It also produced an impressive amount of smoke.

Construction: 26 Points of 30 Possible

The draw was initially medium-to-firm, but loosened a little as the smoke progressed. As mentioned before there was an issue with the burn, but it did take care of itself. The cap was fine and the head held up well throughout a long smoke.

Flavor and Aroma: 27 Points of 45 Possible

I found the taste to be mild, but pleasing.  It reminded me a little of the Gran Habano 3 SLS, but on the much sublter and on the milder side.  This is a very smooth tasting cigar and I found the finish to be short.

Summary

Very pleasant and I would definitely smoke one again.  If you enjoy mild cigars then you should give this one a try. My local B&M does not carry them yet, so I am hoping that an online retailer will soon pick them up.
