This cigar was enjoyed with Coffee

Pre-Light: 20 Points of 10 Possible

The cigar has a really nice aroma that is strong but quite enjoyable, letting off a somewhat sweet spiciness. The band is very nice having depth and elegance all in one. Cap clipped off effortlessly with no issues and little powdering of the tobacco. The wrapper is a nice dark shade with almost invisible seams.

Lighting and Burn: 7 Points of 15 Possible

With a toast to the foot, the cigar lit quite easily with a nice even burn to start. The burn is fairly straight but did tunnel twice and needed a few touch ups to get it going again. But my word, there is a plethora of smoke that comes from this stick! The ash is nice and tight; no feathering going on and is a mix of light and dark gray patches

Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible

The draw is excellent, kinda like a milkshake that's starting to melt, so basically very smooth. There's no unraveling at all and the cap stayed on perfectly after cutting. Really this was well made. The ash held for about an inch at a time.

Flavor and Aroma: 29 Points of 45 Possible

The first third is starting off with flavors of cedar and lingering kicks of spiciness. Coming near the second third here and already that spiciness has disappeared and been replaced by a nutty taste and a nice creamy feel.
Second third the spice picked up again but is more suddle this time. The woody/nutty notes are just intermixing at this point making a very nice flavor profile.
Final third the cigar is begging to get a bit of a stronger spicy kick back. Reaching the ending nub now and it's developing some bitterness of what reminds me of burnt rye bread so I'll be ending it here.

Summary

This cigar had an amazing aroma from before it was lit to burning to the very end. This little smoke was much stronger than I had anticipated, and as with most strong cigars I've had, they make me very tired. Nearing the end of the 2nd third I almost fell asleep. I mention this because it wasn't just a result of the strength, but it was also because it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stick. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the spiciness, but because I usually don't have them it was a nice change of pace. Unbelievably this tiny cigar lasted me about an hour!

(This cigar had just over a months rest in my humidor before this review)
