This cigar was enjoyed with Water

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

This cigar was well made with a triple cap and a smooth, evenly colored wrapper. It had a dull, dry look and feel but was packed well and had a hefty weight. The pre-light aroma was a bit musty but full and robust. It cut clean and showed a nicely rolled cigar.

Lighting and Burn: 14 Points of 15 Possible

The cigar lit well and the burn stayed straight all the way. The draw was nice and firm which produced alot of smooth tasty smoke. The ash was tight and dark gray and stayed tight untill forced off. The cigar burned straight and cool.

Construction: 28 Points of 30 Possible

A nice triple cap made the cigar not only look good but cut good and stand up to clenching. The wrapper was smooth and dull with an almost dry feel. There were no soft spots and the cigar burned beautifully. The draw was right on, firm but fair, mmmm good!!!

Flavor and Aroma: 33 Points of 45 Possible

The cigar started mild and tasty with a unique musty, barnyard flavor. The flavor was like nothing Ive ever tasted, like roasted chestnuts. As it burned it became fuller and more robust with an earthy, peat taste and a full, deep room note. It was an easy smoking cigar with a full flavor that never became harsh. It had a long finish that lasted between puffs, it left a rich tobacco, toasty taste. Towards the end it got a bit danker with a bitter tounge bite but was interesting after such a smooth start.

Summary

The first one of these I smoked was terrible, soft and really bitter. I had another one so I gave it another try. Im glad I did, it was alot better, this one was what you can expect from the brand Im sure. This cigar was tasty from the start and tasted unlike anything Ive smoked before. I could pick this out of a line-up for sure, very unique. I really enjoyed the different flavor, it stands out from any other cigar which is a nice change, I want more!! It has a very easy to smnoke character and plenty of great flavors without being too complex. I think if you gave one of these to a friend, they would come back for more.
