Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

Bumpy veiny wrapper easy smooth cut. Pre light aroma of light tobacco flavor. You will find yourself just staring at this cigar before you even take flame to it.
A definite beauty to behold. Feels good in the hand with a good heavy dense filled feel.

Lighting and Burn: 15 Points of 15 Possible

Smooth consistent burn, no need to touch up. Booming beautiful grey brown smoke. Solid strong ash that only broke off at the half way point. I was amazed at how the burn was very consistent and ash was a beautiful white grey color.

Construction: 29 Points of 30 Possible

Impeccable construction easy smooth draw. The cap to body of cigar is seamless could not even see the cap. Flawless construction. A beauty to hold in your hand. I actually took some pictures of it as I was smoking it.

Flavor and Aroma: 32 Points of 45 Possible

What a great cigar, as is all Padron's IMHO. Initial first draw flavors of earth, leather, and a wonderful aftertaste of luxurious pepper on the palate. About an inch in dark chocolate starts to mingle in. Rich Rich Rich!!! Halfway in richness starts to fade to smoothy creamy flavors of chocolate cake. Final third of cigar and notes of spice and black licorice come into play. WOW!!! Bringing along the pepper aftertaste . You just want to keep drawing on this cigar begging for more. Never burned hot even with my uncontrolled exuberance. You definitely have a finger burner here!!

Summary

I absolutley love the 1964 series, and usually get them in the natural wrapper, which is why I did not rate this as high as others. All in all though a definite must try. Thanks again Paul absolutely wonderful smoking experience.
