This cigar was enjoyed with black coffee

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

This cigar had small veins through the wrapper but did not take away form the cigar itself.  Very well done cap, easiliy cut by a guillotine cutter.  The cigar was firm throughout with no soft spots noted.  In examining the filler from the foot and head,no veins were noted, all filler

Lighting and Burn: 14 Points of 15 Possible

All went well at lighting but in the 1st 1/2 inch showed signs of canoeing. It quickly corrected itself, and from there developed a very nice firm light gray ash.  The cigar burned straight  throughout after the 1st 1/2 inch producing one of the longest ashes from a robusto I have encountered.  It finally succumbed to gravity at about 3 1/2 inches, wish I would have had a camera on hand. Yhe burn rate near perfect with no relights or touch ups required.  The head remained firm to the end

Construction: 27 Points of 30 Possible

The overal construction of the cigar was quality throughout.  The colors of wrapper changed slightly through the cigar, the wrapper itself was done with the obvious expertice of an expertienced roller. The cap was near perfection.  The draw was perfect on this cigar naking it enjoyable to smoke

Flavor and Aroma: 31 Points of 45 Possible

It started out on the mild side of medium but quickly developed into a medium bodied cigar. The flavors while remaining constant throughout the cigar, were enjoyable and never over bearing with a hint of spiciness. In the 1st 2/3 the flavors emained very constant, while warming up slightly in the last 1/3. Not completely smooth but never bitter, even to a nub.  This cigar had a very nice aroma. The flavors were slightly complex and enjoyable

Summary

Overall, a very enjoyable medium bodied cigar. I smoked it to a nub, something I rarely do.  I was very impressed with the overall construction, well done.  I was amazed at the near 3 1/2 inch ash.  Worthy of smoking again, I wouldnt hesitate buying these.
