This cigar was enjoyed with Iced tea

Pre-Light: 18 Points of 10 Possible

The wrapper a nicely even colored dark maduro, was not completely smooth with a few small veins in the wrapper but did not take away from the cigar.  The cap was well don and easily cut.  This cigar was firm to the touch and no soft spot, excellent aroma

Lighting and Burn: 15 Points of 15 Possible

This cigar burned staight on, with a light brown ash, hints of darker gray.  This was a slow burning cigar, due to the fullness of it, not a bad thing, very enjoyable.  There were no burn issues or touch ups.  Lots of smoke form this cigar throughout the entire experience

Construction: 26 Points of 30 Possible

This cigar is well presented, witha cedar wrapper and a black ribbon on the foot and a basic band.  The cap was done well, and the wrapper, a few small veins, nothing that took away from the appearance or smoking.  My only concern was the draw, slightly firm.  It did not , however, interfere with smoking

Flavor and Aroma: 30 Points of 45 Possible

In lighting I got a medium + blast of smoke, made me think this was more medium + but then mellowed out immediately.  The 1st third was very enjoyable, in between mild to medium bodied with the flavors of fine DR filler, but the maduro wrapper added its flavors ending in an excellent blend and excellent example of a maduro.  The second 2/3 the flavors warmed up some, and remained enoyable throughout.  The 3/3 was good to the point where I had to put it out, there was only a nub left

Summary

This was a very enjoyable maduro. I liked th blends and the balance between the filler and the wrapper and it smoked well.  The only issue which was minor was the firm draw.  I enjoyed the cigar and would smoke them again, recommended
