Aruhiba (Oranjestad, Aruba)
Submitted by Analyze 11/04/2011 10:19 PM|
Came across this place while in Aruba. He owns several locations on the island. At his main store they sell cigars made from tobacco grown right there in Aruba and also a few ISOM's for very reasonable prices. The cigars aren't spectacular but it's a great souvenir and you gotta imagine its hard growing tobacco in Aruba which has a desert like climate. His other store had Cubans, Dominicans, Honduran, and Nicaraguans.

Havana Cay Cigar Bar (Lucaya, Bahamas)
Submitted by BlackIrish 07/25/2008 07:15 AM|
Took a short vacation to the Bahamas with my brother and his family (apparently you can get great deals on rates in the Bahamas in July -- if you're willing to brave the heat and the hurricanes). Sheraton and Westin resorts located side by side; discovered that the Westin has this cigar bar. Very nice decor, nice selection of overpriced Cuban and non-Cuban cigars. Smoke them indoors or on the veranda in a comfy chair with a tasty beverage of your choice.

Tesoros de Cuba (Curitiba, PR, Brazil)
Submitted by Mellonius 10/02/2009 01:28 PM|
Very pleasant lounge with nice furniture and a good supply of Cuban, Brazilian and some Dominican smokes. Live music weekly. Great place for a happy hour after work with your buddies or a good smoke in the company of a very good espresso (they also sell many brands of premium coffee if you feel like taking it home). Friendly service, plenty of magazines to read, good drinks and appetizers.

Esch Cafe (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

This is a very beautiful lounge with plenty of seats where you can have dinner or a drink while you smoke your favorite stogie. The place sells a good variety of classic Cuban brands including Cohiba, Partagas, Hoyo de Monterrey, Montecristo, punch, Romeo y Julieta and others. On friday nights and weekends they also offer live music (usually jazz, blues and bossa nova). Located in the heart of Leblon, the most laid-back, relaxed and classy neighborhood in Rio. It is a favorite of mine, of course.
Zigarren (Calgary, Canada)
Submitted by RoscozRevenge 07/21/2011 03:55 PM|
Zigarren is a nice little shop in south east Calgary with a fantastic walk in humidor, which offers a great selection of Cuban, Honduran, Nicaraguan, Dominican, Jamaican and European cigars. The gentlemen who assisted me were friendly, knowledgeable and obviously passionate about their trade. Prices are better than my local shop but that is not saying much.
Shefield & Sons Tobacconists (Calgary, Canada)
Submitted by horrido 02/01/2015 05:18 PM|
•an extensive tobacco section with a large display of cigarettes, pipes, pipe tobacco, fine cut tobacco and rolling papers - all priced at very competitive price-points;
•a wide selection of cigars from many countries, including Cuba; and
•smoking accessories including the ever-popular Zippo lighters and cigar humidors for the home
As usual prices are high for cigars lots of Cuban variety is not to bad.

This Shop has a great selection and the cigars appear to be really well looked after.
Emilio's Humidor (Calgary, Canada)
Submitted by skirdie 09/04/2013 03:25 PM|
Great cigar shop set up as a kiosk in the middle of eau Claire market. As such it is a small walk in humidor but it has a great selection, largely high end limited edition cigars. The staff are great and the cigars in great shape.

I checked this store out on my last trip to Edmonton. It has a small walkin humidor with a nice selection of cigars from all over the world. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also the cofe they server is out of this world.
Hav-A-Cigar (Edmonton, Canada)
Submitted by TKSolway 02/24/2016 02:46 PM|
This is my favourite place in the city to grade a good cigar. They have a very large humidor, that is fully stocked. The older lady that owns the place is not pushy and knows what's going on in the cigar world. Better prices than the Tabaconist on White.
Burlington On Whyte (Edmonton, Canada)
Submitted by TKSolway 02/24/2016 02:49 PM|
This is the very definition of a cigar shop. As far as I know it is one of the oldest around. They have a relatively small humidor, but they keep the best and most popular stuff in stock. I don't think you can find any people more knowledgeable about the product. It's on Whyte Ave. though, so expect a higher price than normal.

Paul Stulac: Smoke On the Water (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada)
Submitted by Mojo66 04/26/2013 08:02 PM|
Very impressing place I found. I've read somebody reporting that going there was like living in a GQ magazine. This place is very luxurious, it smells expensive. I must admit, it's pretty snobish but then again, any cigar shop that can sell you an average cuban cigar at 30.00$ a piece can afford to be, right?
But they have great location and great selection, what more can you ask for.
Worth the stop if ever in beautiful Nova Scotia

Smoker's Haven (Kingston, Ontario, Canada)
Submitted by Newbhunter 08/03/2013 12:09 PM|
Nice little shop. The front sells those weird pipes for use with stuff we shouldn't smoke and that can throw anyone off... However, if one proceeds to the back, you will find a large walk in humidor with a decent variety of sticks, ISOM's on one side, other countries on the other. Good fair prices as well. Other than that there is a small selection of tobacco pipes and pipe tobacco.

Wood paneling and a full range of great spirits, from Cognacs and single malt Scotches to fine Rums. Here are some highlights from his cigar list. The prices are all in Canadian dollars, which once upon a time actually meant somewhere between a 20 and 30 percent discount for Americans; alas, the Canadian dollar is trading at about 75 cents on the U.S. dollar today. But he has Bolivar Royal Coronas at $23, Cohiba Esplendidos, $48, Montecristo No. 1s, $28, El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme, $23 and San Cristobal de la Habana el Morros, $34. If you need any help deciding on a choice, he lists the Cigar Aficionado ratings of the cigars that we've tasted. The smoking room is just off the main dining room hidden away a true gem in the mountains.

Prohibition Laval (Laval, Quebec, Canada)

Used to be a High Times so they have smokers accessories of all kinds. They have many different Cuban offerings in the core lines and some NCs as well. I saw Flatheads there today. Was surprised to find another retailer so close to me. Prices were not bad from a Canadian stand point of course (i.e. $24 for a Bolivar corona) and humidors seemed maintained OK
Maison Habanera Cigares (Laval, Quebec, Canada)

Cuban coffee, cigar accessories and a small but good selection of ISOM and others. They had been in buisness since 1998 in Montreal but moved to the burbs (Sainte-Rose) a couple of years ago. Walking distance from my place but unfortunately not a smoke room, those are very rare in Quebec.
Cigaromanie Tabagie et Variétés (Laval, Quebec, Canada)

Great little place inside a shopping mall. They have all you need and carry an array of cigars all displayed large display cabinets. The humidors are locked up and monitored so the cigars are in great shape. Cons: There aren't any english employes and their prices are a little expensive.

Club Cigar Store (Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada)
Submitted by RoscozRevenge 07/21/2011 04:15 PM|
This is the only cigar shop Lethbridge has to offer. Mainly a confectionary, Club Cigar has a small walk in Humidor with a moderate selection. On every occasion I have visited this store I have been assisted by an older gentleman with limited knowledge and no interest in cigars. Prices are steep but if you know what you are looking for you may get lucky.
