Viva Cigar Lounge (RANCHO MIRAGE, California, United States)      Submitted by clami 05/31/2017 04:36 PM
Great place to relax - offer coffee, soda, water, etc.  Currently planning an expansion into the next store front to add beer and wine.  Comfy chairs, great ventilation, TVs, and live music on the weekends - really nice atmosphere.  Walk in humidor with a nice selection of boutique and big name cigars.  $10 cutting fee for bringing your own cigars.  Very friendly staff that make you feel at home.

Total Wine (Roseville, California, United States)      Submitted by lukin 07/04/2013 08:38 AM
Not a place to sit down, but the humidor here is pretty big.  They have a lot of standard fare and some of the best CA prices on cigars in town.  No one will help you though and they offer little in the way of accessories.

Perfecto Lounge (Roseville, California, United States)      Submitted by lukin 02/12/2012 03:51 PM
This place is fairly new and they have a nice little selection of cigars.  The staff is friendly and knowledgable as well.  They offer storage for a fee and have nice comfortable couches and television everywhere.  They also have a bar where you can order one of six beers they rotate in and out of the place.

This is a small little shop that I think has a seat or two for smoking in the back, although I've never been back there.  They have a pretty standard selection and reasonable CA prices.  Not the friendliest people though.

Tower Cigars (Sacramento, California, United States)      Submitted by DocJazzRH 01/03/2010 09:41 PM
This is a relatively small B&M touted as the oldest in Sacramento and for that reason a place to visit if you're in the area. They supply the typical tobacco needs with a reasonable humidor, lots of pipe tobacco...

California Cigar Company and Smoking Lounge (San Clemente, California, United States)      Submitted by Windwalker 01/22/2009 01:30 PM
An old-fashioned meeting place, but Jeff Tharp, co-owner of California Cigar Co. & Smoking Lounge, jokingly refers to his business as an adult day care center.

We're like Spanky and his gang. Just a little older," smiled Tharp, explaining that many of his regulars (mostly men), from mortgage bankers and real estate agents to retirees, really enjoy spending some leisure time, almost daily, at the smoking lounge.

hey bring their snacks or lunches. They sit back on comfy 1962 winged-back Ethan Allen chairs to read the newspaper or take a short snooze. They play poker, chess, cribbage or backgammon at one of the game tables. They listen to music, watch fishing movies or turn on the TV for sporting events. They hop onto the computer to check their e-mail or do a search on the Internet. They conduct business, sometimes closing $1 million deals.

And, during the summer months, they gather in the back of the shop to smoke or barbecue the fish they caught that day during one of the expeditions Tharp arranged.

Rami is a great man and knowledge-able tobacconist.

Cool place that is good size to check out in Old Town San Diego, bench seating on their covered porch.  I found some Edgar Hoill stuff there last visit that I couldn't really find much of online.  Can't remember what it was called but had an interesting spider web pattern wax paper sleeve.  If you're in old town SD it's worth stopping in, friendly fairly laid back people and you can grab a smoke to walk around old town with, and you have an excuse to not go into the shops!

This place serves you a complimentary glass of aged rum with the pre-embargo cuban cigar that you purchased there.  This is a clothing store with a small smoking room (2 chairs) at the rear of the store.

Cigargroup.com says: "Cigar smoking is allowed and encouraged in their enclosed outdoor back garden patio, replete two massive barbecues (which the bartenders will gladly fire up for you and your friends, provided you call at least one hour in advance on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only). You have to supply the meat, chicken or fish, but don't bother bringing your own beer, they have a great selection."
