"The day after God created great cognac He realized He'd only done half the job and so He created great cigars. Then, He knew it was better than good. And it was the evening and morning of the eighth day." - The novel Jack in the Box by John Weisman
This is a nice cigar lounge with a few beers available (Guiness and Weihanstephaner Weizen on tap), and a modest selection of wine and spirits. Seating is mostly small tables with comfortable wing-back chairs. Nice big windows along the walls. Cigar selection consists mainly of Habanos, with some Davidoffs as well. They also had a box of Rocky Patel Decades and a box of Java. Cigar prices are in line with what the few cigar shops in Korea sell their smokes for...this means about triple what you would pay at duty-free prices. The owner is not very knowledgeable about cigars--but the atmosphere is nice, service is good, and the young lady working there is a hottie. They don't mind if you bring your own cigars, so this will probably be a regular hangout for me.
To get to the Burn Lounge by subway, go to Noksapyong Station and go out exit two. Walk down the hill then take the pedestrian crossover tunnel to the other side of the street. Walk down to the bottom of the hill to Hoenamu-ro and turn right toward the Hyatt. Burn is about 150m up the road to the left, 2nd floor (across the street from the big church).
