You will find the finest Cuban Cigars in this most unlikely place. The Owner, Yitz Penciner, has been in the delicatessen business all of his life; he is the man responsible for creating the unique Toronto tradition of selling quality Cuban Cigars in a Jewish style deli.
As general manager of an old Delicatessen in Toronto`s Fashion District he couldn't help but notice many of his customers were enjoying a good smoke after their Corned Beef sandwich. Never one to pass the buck, he started to sell these stogies in a corner of the restaurant. Based on that success, it was natural for Mr. Yitz to start selling Cuban Sticks when he opened up his own deli in 1972.
Smokers "in the know" like buying Cigars in the middle od this delicatessen. They come in for a corned Beef sandwich and walk out with the best Cigar prices in the City! Mr. yitz has seen the smoke trend come and go but the latest craze has prompted him to expand the size of his Humidor.
Eating delicious food and smoking Cuban Cigars; with a job like that, who needs hobbies?
