This is a great family owned and operated shop. Not the largest selection in Baton Rouge, but a decent one with better prices than the others. Also a location in Covington, LA.

This is a great family owned and operated shop. It has the best selection I've found on the North Shore, and the best prices. Also a location in Baton Rouge, LA.

Decent selection, but a little high on prices. Has a lounge that can be used with a membership or day pass. Also has lockers for rent.

Great selection and very comfortable.  The best cigar shop on the north shore.  Occasionally food will be brought in, but don't expect it every time.

A very friendly family owned business with good prices. A fair amount of seating, and also a private members area with 24 hour access, and lockers for rent.

Lake Charles Cigar Club (Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States)      Submitted by kxthor911 05/04/2013 09:42 AM
This place has a little bit of everything. A few padrons, illusiones, ashton, acid, and ect. Some of the more popular brands is what I'm trying to say. Not a lot of super rare stuff but if you want to go have a smoke and a drink with a buddy not a bad place to go.

Hokus Pokus (Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States)      Submitted by kxthor911 09/02/2013 09:36 AM
This is a liquor store, but they have a walk in humidor. Their walk in has a pretty good selection actually, I was surprised. They do not have any of the really higher priced sticks but if you are ever in Lake Charles and wanting a smoke it is probably one of the better places to look for something within a budget.

This is a higher priced establishment. They offer some cigars for people with more expensive taste. They do not have a large selection but what they have had are on the better, higher priced end. They also have quality humidors, ashtrays, and lighters if you need something new while in town.

New Orleans Cigar Factory (New Orleans, Louisiana, United States)      Submitted by alpal 03/24/2013 11:02 AM
I can't believe this isn't on here yet! As far as I know, the only true New Orleans cigar there is. They have a small, but complete, selection of their own boutique brand, which they roll right there in the store. Prices range from about 6-13$ a stick. Great place to sit and enjoy a smoke, talk to the master rollers, or watch a game. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and generally great to talk to about anything. As an added bonus, they don't mind if you bring your drink in with you (I normally stop and grab a to-go brew from one of the nearby establishments).
This isn't a tourist trap, either. I go here about once a month, with several of my friends who live in New Orleans and the surrounding area, and we always have a wonderful evening.

My favorite local cigar bar.  This is your typical New Orleans bar, but with great smokes!  Live music or other jazz and rock fill the small rooms, and so does the smoke of this establishment's great smokes.  The offering isn't the largest, but lots of high quality smokes are offered.  A helpful and friendly staff are always around, and there is a killer happy hour here.  And, my favorite, they have a small private patio that is fenced in.  This is the perfect spot to sneak away from work and enjoy a smoke for an hour or two with the guys, or pass a great evening with friends.  Although food isn't served inside, Taceaux Loceaux, a local taco truck, is frequently outside and offers fantastic snacks at a great price.

This is a great, authentic feeling cigar bar.  The front of the establishment has leather couches and chairs with Cigar Aficionado magazines laid about, and with nice ashtrays available for use.  There is a great walk-in humidor with a very nice cigar selection.  The bar in the back is full service.  A great place if you are in the Central Business District.

Found this place while on travel.  Has plenty of seating both in a lounge with flat screen TVs and a bar area with stools.  They had a walkin humidor with a good selection of cigars and practically every Padron.  Staff provided good assistance in making selections in the humidor.  Cigars started at $13 and went up.  Looked like base bang for buck was with higher end cigars.
