Olde Tyme Smoke Shoppe (Beach Haven, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by lowpro75 03/31/2009 10:24 AM
If you are vacationing on Long Beach Island want to find a real tobacco store this is the only game in town.  You can always pick up cigars at one of the many liquor stores on the island but if you want a decent selection this is the place to go.  They carry Padron Anniversery, the Oliva V and some other higher end smokes that you probably won't be able to find at the liquor store (or wouldn't want to buy there).  The prices are fairly reasonable.  The shop is fairly small but there are a few seats.  If you are on vacation and looking for a decent cigar this is a nice place to go.

Village Tobacco (Berlin, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Ray240 04/19/2008 09:07 PM
This is a pretty small, relatively unknown cigar shop located in a flea market type place in Berlin, New Jersey (Southern NJ). You can't smoke inside but they do have a decent selection with very good prices. The thing i like the most about the place, besides the reasonable prices is the availability of some hard to find sticks. They carry Padron 1926 and 1964 series, Arturo Fuente Viejo and some other smokes that are either impossible to find or way overpriced.

Churchill's Tobacco Shop (Cherry Hill, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by vdragani 06/14/2012 01:23 PM
Small little neat shop that provides for all of your tobacco-related needs, from pipes and pipe tobacco to Top Notch!!!
I have been buying cigars here for about 15 years.  Never a stale cigar.  It's a small neighborhood shop with a great collection of brand name cigars and some unknown gems.

cigars and all related accessories, humidors, Pipe and pipe tobacco and cigarettes.
Very friendly and knowledgable owner who is always willing to help.
For those who might not be cigars of pipe tobacco aficionados, great place to go, as you will be recommend a great product and will not have to overpay.

Jamie's Cigar Lounge (Cliffton , New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Smurf 02/18/2013 02:55 PM
This is a classy place I love it! Great fully stocked bar, leather coutches with flat screen tv's to watch the game. Great ambinace, fun friendly staff. They are adjacent to a nice steakhouse too so its the perfect fit! I like this place very much it reminds me of my local smoking lounge!

Center Street Cigar (Clinton, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Jonnyd287 04/12/2012 05:03 PM
This is a tiny place in the quaint town of Clinton, NJ. It recently opened up and is rather small, but do not let that scare you away. It certainly pumps out some very high end cigars such as the Padron Anniversario, RP 15, Ashton ESG and VSG, and a whole lot more. It has a nice upstairs lounge where you can sit and enjoy a smoke during the cold months and even has heat lamps during some of the colder months for outdoor seating. It's a great place to stop.

Cigar Cigar (Freehold, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by abarbato82 06/30/2013 07:34 AM
Great little shop in downtown Freehold. Small store front off of Main Street. Owners have several other shops in PA as well. Small area to sit and enjoy a smoke with customer provided spirits. Best part is their selection and prices. They have a number of cigars that I haven't been able to find anywhere else in central jersey and their prices, on average, are 2-3 bucks less than competitors in the area. If you live in Central Jersey, this is the place to go.

Nero's Cigars (Haddonfield, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Scottie_J 11/27/2010 06:34 PM
Small and Quaint, but with a huge walk in humidor. A large flat screen TV and an abundance of leather seating. A local favorite.

Light House Cigars 1 (Hazlet, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by CrazyK 10/26/2011 08:11 PM
On my way out to the Jersey Shore, I happened upon this place by sheer luck. I walked in and there were a couple guys smoking cigars in their very limited seating, and I saw the big humidor at the back. I felt a bit intimidated, but went in anyway. Turns out they had a fantastic selection of cigars at great prices. Their humidor was very well stocked, and I was able to pick up the top 4 boxes on my list. Of course the guy behind the counter seemed pleased! Great prices, great selection, and a short drive from Newark. Well worth the trip.

Hoboken Cigars (Hoboken, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Hapcigar 07/07/2012 06:05 PM
Good, not great, selection of brand name cigars.  The owner rolls his own and they are very good and the price is right (excellent for NJ).  $6 - 10 per stick.

The owner and brother are very friendly and always quick with a suggestion.

Big leather chairs to enjoy your purchase.  No food or drinks but we were allows to get some coffee and bring it in.

Burnz Cigar Vault and Lounge (Lawnside, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Hapcigar 08/01/2012 05:54 PM
This is a semi-private store.  Anyone can purchase cigars from the store but to enter the lounge you need to be a member.

The prices at the store are higher than other shops in the area and the selection is limited.  This establishment is new so maybe the selection will increase in the future.

The are three memberships. One is a corporate membership.  The other two differ on the access to the humidor locker and guest passes.  Memberships give discounts in the store.

The Smoking Dog (Maple Shade, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by JayD 07/15/2015 11:51 AM
Nice establishment and the lady of the place was very friendly and helpful. Got some pretty good discounts on my cigars. Didn't get to enjoy the cigar lounge as time wasn't on my side, but from what I saw it looks real neat. Looks like a great hang out spot to relax and enjoy your smoke, I'm not sure if they serve alcohol but I will find out on my next visit.

This is an offbeat B&M with an Ashton cigar lounge.  There is a large selection of cigars but not many accessories. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about cigars.

This B&M is moving to the address above from its current location on Rt 70.  They hope to have the move complete by February 2013.

Otherwise this is a great little shop.  Lots of knowledge on their inventory and accessories.

Greentree Tobacco Co (Sewell, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Hapcigar 10/04/2012 01:12 PM
This shop as two lounges, one for the public and one for members.  The public lounge is nice and you can bring in food and drinks no alcohol.  The private lounge is outstanding with coffee and soft drinks provided.  Food and alcohol allowed.

One caution: The owner is a cat lover and two cats roam the shop but not the humidor or private lounge.

I hidden gem in New Jersey.  This place is one of the few places you can go and enjoy a cigar at a bar and with your dinner in the dining room.  I was told it is the last JRs that still has alcohol.  Very cool atmosphere.  Great folks that work there.  Food was also very reasonably priced and good.  You get a free cigar when you buy a meal!  They have a enormous cigar shop, a dark mahoganey style bar, seperate dining room for food, a wine shop, gift shop, and I think another area I didn't see.  Definitely worth stopping in if you get the chance.

The Cigar shop.  Just huge!

They also have a pretty good Wine Shop

The Dining Room

My room - the bar.

Familiar quotes I feel like we've seen before.  These were some of the front Windows...

Mane Street Cigars (Woodbridge, New Jersey, United States)      Submitted by Nikos69 02/23/2015 11:47 AM
Nice place with a good selection of cigars. The lounge area is small which seats about 10 people but it's set up like a man cave. Leather seating and 2 large flat screens make it a great place to hang out, enjoy a cigar with great people.

The humidor is well maintained with a good selection of cigars at reasonable prices. They carry most of your mainstream cigars (A. Fuente, Ashton, Camacho, Padron, La Flor Dominicana, etc.) and the humidity levels are spot on as I never had any burn issues.

It's my go to spot and it also doesn't hurt that it's only a few blocks away from me. Definitely glad to have Mane Street Cigars nearbly.
